Pros
Since I'm a student, I was burdened by bleaching or dyeing, so I tried this product. The sweet scent and the fact that it lasts about a week are its advantages! It didn't have the unpleasant smell that regular hair dyes have, which I liked.
Cons
My hair is just a slightly reddish-brown color, and even though I used enough, the color barely shows up. :(
Tip
I intentionally used a vivid red, but it didn't really show up at all... Those who use this product will likely need to bleach their hair first.

Pros
It was more of a cherry-like color rather than red. My hair color was a bit different from the original, and the faded color gave it that cherry-like hue. But I still liked the cherry color and the nice fragrance. Since I did the two-tone look with just the ends, the amount was just right and I was satisfied with it.
Cons
The color faded too quickly. I'm not sure if that's normal, but it only lasted about 2 weeks. It was disappointing that the color faded so fast.
Tip
Waiting for more than an hour rather than just 30 minutes seemed to make the color take better and last longer.

Pros
The short-lasting nature of the product seems to be its own kind of advantage! And it seems like the red color is very popular - I went to two different places and was able to get it at one, but had to buy a different brand at the other. I have long hair and my friend has shoulder-length bob, but we were both able to use this one product (we both have thick hair too)! And the scent is nice too haha.
Cons
I don't think there are really any downsides. To talk about the coloring, my friend's hair is a bit lighter (it has a slight brownish tint in the sunlight) and mine is a bit darker (it has a reddish-brown tone in the sunlight). My friend's hair does have a purplish tint, but it's not really noticeable and just looks like her normal hair color (she used Etude House twice and the Olive Young brand once, and her hair still looks red even when not in direct sunlight - you can still see the color after 2-3 weeks!). My hair also doesn't look too different, it's just a bit lighter than my natural black. It's not dramatically lighter, just a normal variation in hair color that people have. Another friend dyed her hair blue, and her hair is really light - like an ashy brown with golden tones, almost black in dim lighting, but in normal or bright lighting it has this vibrant, inky black-blue color (no hints of the original black at all)!
Tip
I think you really need to do a full bleaching first before trying this. Me and my friends just did a little playful experiment, but the difference before and after is pretty noticeable only to us. Another friend used a different brand from Olive Young (I can't remember the name) and her hair turned out really red! She has fine, slightly wavy hair, so the color was very visible in the sunlight. I tried using the leftover product just on my bangs, and they did turn a noticeable reddish color - but only in direct sunlight!!
