Pros
The once-popular Ebony pencil. Gently drawing with it naturally darkens the eyebrows. I still have the stub left after a friend used it, and it's still going strong. Excellent value for money. It just keeps on going, no matter how much you use it.
Cons
Since my facial features are a bit indistinct, brown tones suit me better than black, so I no longer use it.
Tip
Even two people sharing one can't finish it all.

Pros
This product can be considered the quintessential pencil-type eyebrow product. It is not an extremely soft type, so sharpening is not too difficult. If you sharpen it like a Shu Uemura pencil, you can easily draw eyebrows. As long as you don't drop it, the sharpened shape is maintained with moderate pressure. And since the pencil is long, the amount of product is also substantial, so it lasts a really long time. I've been using it for 5 years and haven't even used half of it yet. If you use it as a daily base like me and have never broken the core, you could probably use it for 10 years. When it touches the skin, it feels slightly firm, but it applies well with just a light touch, so it doesn't require much force. I mainly use it in the first step of eyebrow makeup to establish the overall shape, so I apply it with a light hand. Still, it expresses a natural charcoal gray color. It's a good color for those with natural brows, not dyed, and for expressing bold eyebrows. It's great to use when you want a no-makeup makeup look or a transparent makeup look, as it doesn't show that you've applied makeup. You can draw each individual brow hair, and if you've just cleaned up the oily areas as a base, it's very easy to fill in the sparse areas. Layering it too much can make the color too intense, so I recommend using it as a base.
Cons
With such an affordable price and generous amount of product, it's hard to find major downsides to this product. Pros
Sharpening it thinly and lengthily makes it easy to draw, and I find it the most convenient, so I have stocked up on several and am using them! As it is a pencil that is not soft and is as firm as a regular pencil, I can use it for a long time, longer than other products.
Cons
The most disappointing thing is that only gray colors are available... I wish there were also brown colors.
Tip
I use the ebony to shape my eyebrows and use the brown colors together to match my hair color.

It's drawn naturally and won't disappear even if you use it until you die. Hye-su Kim also used it before. The eyebrow pencil is a cherished memory for my mother and sisters.
Cons
Those with sensitive skin sometimes say it hurts. I don't recommend it for those who prefer something gentle.

I recently bought a hair color that's close to black. I've wanted to try it for a while, but I've been using brown tones and sticking with the Shu Uemura products. I was about to buy more Shu Uemura products when I went to Olive Young to buy some cream, and I suddenly remembered this product and picked it up. The color is not completely black, but it's not overly dark either - it looks very natural and light, almost like my own eyebrows. I don't need to buy the expensive Shu Uemura products anymore. I'm used to sharpening the Shu Uemura products myself for a long time, and I was able to sharpen this one the same way. It sharpens just like a real pencil. It's satisfying to sharpen. Maybe it's because it's so dark that I feel like calling it a 'charcoal brow'? Haha The price is also really great 👍🏻
