Honestly, I believe a cushion foundation shouldn't cover every blemish - that would lead to a thick, cakey look. I prefer using concealer for blemishes and cushions for evening out skin tone and covering dark circles. This cushion excels in that aspect. When applied thinly, it provides the perfect base I'm looking for. However, compared to cushions designed for full coverage, it might not be enough if you're aiming for a flawless base with just one product. 2. It applies beautifully. As someone who's dealt with textured skin for years, I can't be bothered with primers on busy mornings - who has time to cover every pore and blackhead before work? That's why I love how this cushion instantly makes my skin look more refined upon application. 3. The color looks natural. Some cushions are too yellow, others too ashy... As someone with yellow-toned skin that's sensitive to shade differences, finding the right cushion has always been a challenge. This one, however, has the perfect tone for Korean skin (at least for me). It naturally brightens my complexion by half a shade, so much so that even my parents complimented me on how healthy I look!
ConsIn these mask-wearing times... the longevity isn't perfect. While we shouldn't expect too much from a cushion, it certainly can't break down as gracefully as a brightening moisturizer or other base products.
TipFor touch-ups, I recommend carrying some hydrating pads. Gently wipe your face and reapply - it works like magic! For application techniques, I recommend checking out Gaeko's videos on YouTube.

The coverage is decent for the price. As someone with an oily T-zone and butterfly zone, I really appreciated how matte this cushion is. However, the area around my mouth felt a bit tight due to dryness.
ConsI'm not sure if it's just my application technique, but I have large, numerous pores and blackheads, plus an extremely oily T-zone. So, the longevity was a bit disappointing. Because it applies thinly, when I tried to layer it, it started to pill on my skin. My combination dehydrated skin (oily on forehead and nose, normal on cheeks, dry around the mouth) caused it to look patchy in dry areas. Also, Neutral Beige, the lightest shade, appeared yellowish on my cool-toned skin, so the complexion match was off.
TipApplying a separate makeup base on dry areas helped reduce patchiness!

Plus, it applies beautifully for a radiant complexion.
ConsUnfortunately, it comes off too easily. The way it sits on the skin varies greatly depending on your skin condition, which can be frustrating. As for coverage, it seems to offer practically none at all.
TipMake sure to apply your skincare thoroughly to prevent pilling.

It also held up well without breaking down throughout the day.
ConsWhen I first used it, I applied only a small amount, but it still felt like I had heavy makeup on my skin.
TipSince I dislike thick-looking skin, I used a tiny amount, spreading it thinly all over. Then I applied another thin layer only on areas that needed extra coverage, like blackheads or blemishes.

I used to flinch when friends' hands came near my face, and I'd apologize for staining their clothes beige after a hug. But now, I've found my holy grail! The coverage is truly excellent, yet it applies so thinly! This means it doesn't transfer easily to clothes or hands. The finish is wonderfully matte! When the weather cools down a bit, I think I could easily use this without powder. This finish also helps prevent transfer to clothes and hands. The color is beautiful! At first application, I thought I'd made a mistake, but after about an hour, it brightens up naturally. Personally, I didn't experience any darkening. Most importantly, it doesn't cause blemishes! As someone who breaks out easily from cosmetics or diet changes, I was a bit worried after buying it impulsively without checking the ingredients. But after two weeks of use, I haven't had a single blemish! My skin has actually improved (though that's probably due to changing my skincare routine. Still, I can confidently say this cushion hasn't worsened my skin at all!).
ConsIf there's one downside, it's that the matte and thin finish means it lacks in pore coverage. The included puff seems to emphasize pores even more. However, this can be addressed by mixing with other products, so I'm still very satisfied with this cushion!
TipFor those concerned about pores, use a moisturizing foundation on your T-zone! I apply Clio Kill Cover on my T-zone first, then use this Double Lasting cushion all over. If pores are a concern, using a brush might also be helpful.

A truly versatile and reliable product.
ConsThe price seems a bit high for its performance... And it doesn't apply well around the nose area! Other than that, it's fantastic~

I've been using Etude's original Double Lasting Foundation, so when I checked the official site, the color difference didn't seem significant. I ordered the Neutral Beige shade I was already using. It was my first time trying an Etude cushion, and I was really surprised by how thin it was. I'm not familiar with Etude's other cushion puffs, but this one really gives the skin a firm, bouncy feel. As for coverage, well, you probably know, but I have quite severe redness. The veins around my nose are quite visible, and my cheeks have a rosy tint - in dry indoor environments, just applying foundation can look like I've put on blush. This cushion managed to cover even that level of redness quite nicely.
ConsWhen I first received the cushion, I was really taken aback. It was the color... As I mentioned before, I have redness and I'm a cool tone with shade 21. I don't particularly want pale skin, so based on the store assistant's recommendation, I had bought the Neutral Beige foundation, which worked fine. It didn't clash much with my neck color, so I bought the same shade in the cushion, but... What's this? The cushion turned out significantly more yellow. Confused, I compared it with my previous foundation, and it's definitely more yellow. I swatched them on the back of my hand - left: cushion in Neutral Beige, middle: foundation in Neutral Beige, right: foundation in Neutral Vanilla. Looking at the swatches and my neck and skin color, even though the lighting makes it less noticeable, there's a big difference from my usual shade. I was so shocked that I checked under a flashlight and went outside to see it in natural light... and the yellowness was real. Looking at the color chart in the photo, it seems like the neutral tones have become more yellow in the cushion version. I haven't tried the cool tones yet, but from online reviews, it seems the cool-toned foundations are less yellow. In the end, I used the cushion and refill once and sold them to a friend at half price... When I swatched my mom's Neutral Vanilla foundation next to the cushion, the color difference was really significant. Since the sale period is until the 28th, assuming Neutral Vanilla might also have a slight yellow tinge, I went ahead and bought Light Vanilla. Everyone, please make sure to test the colors in-store before buying, and if you're using the existing Double Lasting Foundation, keep in mind that the cushion version might be more yellow!
TipSince I have very oily skin, I was wondering what base to use. I bought Etude's Oil Volume Base(?) and applied the cushion over it. It definitely improves adherence, but be careful as a lot of product comes out at once, so you need to press gently to control the amount. Personally, I feel it emphasizes dead skin cells slightly less than the foundation. Remember, a thin base layer helps it last longer and adhere better, so keep that in mind.
