I bought this because I wanted a bright BB cream, and it really delivered on that front. The texture isn't difficult to apply, and it spreads evenly even when you're just quickly smoothing it on. While it's labeled as a brightening moisturizer, it really does feel just like that... which was a bit disappointing. The coverage is also quite minimal, so if you're looking for a BB cream with more coverage, you might want to choose a shade darker than you normally would. - ki**********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityJul 13, 2024
Shade 17 is the perfect match for my skin tone. It's a cool-toned pink with an ivory undertone. I'm impressed that even for a BB cream, the color is so bright and pretty. Plus, it has a high SPF rating. I thought it would be ideal as a foundation-free option, so I decided to purchase it. However... The dryness is such a letdown. To make matters worse, it has a knack for highlighting texture and dead skin cells. While the somewhat thick application can be managed by mixing it with other base products, the intense dryness that sets in after just 1-2 hours made me give up before using even 1/5 of the product. As time passes, it makes skin look oddly patchy and doesn't wear off gracefully. (It doesn't simply fade away, but rather accentuates the dry, uneven surface of the skin.) If it's this bad in summer, it would be absolutely unsuitable for dry skin types in winter. It seems Missha base products, including their previous cushion compact, generally don't work well for me. What a shame. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 4, 2024
I was looking for a light shade, so I'm happy they have #19! I haven't been using it for long, so I'll need to keep an eye on it to really know how it performs. - hy*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 23, 2024
The color is beautiful and the staying power is similar to foundation. I was worried because I have extremely dry skin and heard it could be drying, but I love it! I'm also satisfied with the high SPF. It didn't work for me! I wanted to even out my complexion, and the color matches well. I have dry skin, so I pay a lot of attention to hydration. If you apply a good moisturizer before using this, even those with extremely dry skin like me can use it well. - bo****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 28, 2024
Skin type: Dry to combination? I have a light 21 shade and prefer a slightly brighter look, about half a shade lighter. That's why I like using shades 19 or 20 depending on the product. If there's too much yellow, I end up looking like a Simpson character! The only foundation that really matches me is Estée Lauder Futurist Cool Porcelain. For cushions, the best color matches I've found are Fanel 21 and Pieu Glass 1 Fair Glass. Color: Most BB creams are too dark for me, making it look like I've done a tone-down makeup, so even if they're good, I can't use them. I couldn't buy Choboyang because everyone said it looked muddy on the face. I bought Blanc 19 before, and when I tried it today after not using it for a while, I found it moisturizing and a good match for my skin tone. It's just the color of my skin, so even if it fades, there's no noticeable difference with my natural skin color. I'd say it's more neutral than pink, with a tiny hint of orange. It's not overly pink at all. Longevity: With mask wearing, it did fade a bit on my nose, but there wasn't much difference on my cheeks, forehead, and chin. My face has been very dry lately, so I've been using Clio Concealer Airy Fit 1.5 Fair as a base and applying this thinly over it. I wanted something moisturizing, which is why I pulled this out to use. Now I wonder why I haven't been using it all this time! If you're worried about it coming off due to its moisturizing nature, set it with powder. It fades cleanly without looking messy, which is great. Tools: I applied it with a damp Real Techniques puff, and it worked well. Touch-ups: My skin condition isn't great right now, and I have some dead skin cells on my face. When I touch up, it does build up a bit on the face. At first, the moisture makes the flakes less noticeable, but when I reapply, you can see some flaking. I need to pay more attention to my skincare routine! I've tried it a few times and found nothing particularly bad. Maybe try changing your application tool and apply with just a puff or your hands. The top photo shows Clio Kill Cover Airy 1.5 Fair, and the bottom photo shows Missha Blanc BB 19 Rosy. Compare them! - he********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsSep 26, 2023
The color is truly beautiful. Although it's shade 19, it's actually a very light color closer to shade 13. Given how light it is, due to the composition of color-producing ingredients, it's bound to feel more like a brightening moisturizer than a foundation. And that's exactly what this is like. It's a foundation, but instead of being white, it feels like it's been transformed into a brightening moisturizer to achieve that white tone. The skin finish is really unattractive... It doesn't cover pores well, severely emphasizes dead skin cells, looks pale, and feels extremely dry. Yet, it becomes oily after application. Still, it applies in a way that severely accentuates flakiness, making the skin look rough. And on top of that, it's greasy... Since the color isn't a typical foundation tone, and especially because it has a pink base, it really fails to cover redness. The coverage is quite poor overall. However, I really liked using the Blanc BB Tension Cushion product??? I bought this because I prefer applying with a brush+puff, but the contents are completely different from the Tension product. The color seems similar, so buy the Tension instead... Even if it feels wasteful, using the Tension with a brush is so much better!!! Buy the Tension, this one isn't it.... - s2*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 26, 2023
It has a powdery finish and great adherence, making it perfect to mix with a moisturizing foundation. The light pink color beautifully corrects the complexion. If you have dry skin, it might be a bit challenging to use on its own. - wh********Dry SkinFeb 20, 2023
I'm not entirely sure. One positive aspect is the wide range of color options available. It's quite thick and has a strong scent. The fragrance is quite intense. Personally, I'm not a big fan. - mi*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 3, 2022
- Absorbs well with a moisturizing feel - Easy to apply even with fingers (convenient) - Beautiful color (I knew this when ordering... I was introduced to the cushion version and thought it was amazing, couldn't forget that beautiful color and skin expression, so I looked for it again. The cushion wasn't available, but I found a BB cream with the same name, so I reordered) - Truly gives a clear and bright beautiful look. ★★★★★ ←←← Absolute champion in this aspect In the photo, the brighter shade at the top is this product! Sometimes when applying color makeup, it can make your face look a bit pale and floaty. The shade is light, so it can appear quite bright in certain lighting. It has a slight pink undertone, which some people might not prefer. Because it's on the lighter side, it might make teeth appear relatively yellow in comparison. That's about it..?? - du*****Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresOct 2, 2022
I loved the pink tone and how it brightens up my complexion. It stays matte without darkening even after hours of wear. It tends to sit on top of the skin, possibly due to dryness, which unfortunately emphasizes dead skin cells and small blemishes.
