To be honest, there's nothing I dislike about it based on my standards. Everything is to my liking, except perhaps the price...

I don't usually go for rose-scented perfumes, but I fell in love with this one at first sniff. The more I think about it, the more I realize what a great purchase it was. The description 'like stepping into a rose garden' fits perfectly. It's in a completely different league compared to other famous rose fragrances. The lingering scent is truly long-lasting and delightful.

It reminds me of many similar scents you'd find on the first floor of a department store. The fragrance feels skewed towards women. Though it's called a gourmet perfume, I honestly can't tell the difference.

Unlike Diptyque's simpler scents, this fragrance has a complex aroma. It's quite noticeable, giving different impressions depending on your mood. The well-balanced notes create a sense of stability.

Although it's a rose perfume, it doesn't immediately evoke the image of roses, and it feels quite different from L'Ombre dans L'Eau from the same house. It's likely to be a polarizing scent, so make sure to test it on your skin before purchasing.

Even with just one spray, it has a strong presence, and the longevity is impressive - it seems to last about 12 hours when sprayed on clothes. It's slightly heavy and spicy, so it might not be everyone's cup of tea. I wouldn't recommend it for prolonged periods in enclosed spaces with many people. I usually go for softer fragrances, but compared to those, this one feels more sophisticated and alluring, so I save it for special occasions.

While the initial scent is incredibly spicy and bold, how can the lingering notes be so powdery? The powerful first impression that hits your olfactory senses might polarize opinions, but I believe it's a fragrance that suits both men and women equally well (as is often the case with Diptyque scents, but even more so here). They likely launched this knowing it would be 'a scent that only those who appreciate it will love' rather than targeting a broader audience. I strongly advise against blind buying this scent, as it's quite an adventure. It evokes the image of a smartly suited office worker briskly crossing the financial district.

When sprayed on skin, the scent doesn't last as long as when applied to clothes, so I recommend carrying a travel-sized bottle with you
