I was surprised to receive a product that was the actual full size, as I thought it would be a sample size. But it turned out to be the dedicated Hwahae Trial Reviewer package. The good thing is that the product provides a moisturizing effect with just a small amount. Normally, moisturizing creams only feel moisturizing right after application, and people with atopic dry skin like me need to apply oil as well. But this product doesn't leave me feeling dry even if I apply a generous amount in the evening. The texture is very hydrating and applies smoothly. It reminds me of the Sulwhasoo Water Cream (in the blue package) that I used before, which felt very moisturizing despite being a cream. The lack of irritation is also a plus. While I personally enjoy fragrances, those sensitive to scents will likely appreciate the almost undetectable fragrance.
ConsWhen I first received the product, I was a bit disappointed to see Japanese text on it. I try to avoid Japanese products... This aspect bothered me throughout using the product. Applying a slightly generous amount in the evening leaves me feeling a bit stuffy. Over time, it becomes more powdery, but right after application, the dense, sticky feeling can be somewhat uncomfortable.
TipIn the morning, after applying toner, I just use a small amount, then apply sunscreen and lightly pat on some cushion foundation before going to work. This leaves me feeling not too dry, which is great.

There's a slight sense of heaviness, but no thick or greasy sensation. It absorbs quickly after application, and leaves a smooth, supple feel when touched. ✅ Packaging: The bottom is glass, and the lid is made of a glass-like plastic (a bit noisy if dropped!). As shown in the attached photo, the size is about that of AirPods.
Cons1. Despite being lightweight and fast-absorbing, it left a somewhat stuffy, uncomfortable feeling. 2. I didn't know it was a Japanese product at first, and felt a bit hesitant to use it since it's from Japan. 3. As a Japanese product, the packaging labeling is different from Korean standards, making it difficult to find information. The 17g capacity is quite small, yet the packaging feels a bit heavy. 4. I'm not sure if it's due to this cream, but I've been struggling with breakouts on my chin and cheeks.
TipWhile it looks incredibly lightweight, a small amount of this cream is actually quite moisturizing!

Definitely moisturizing and long-lasting 2. As the name 'Watery' suggests, it feels like a water barrier is formed. 3. I'm usually quite dry, but in the morning when I applied it, I didn't feel much tightness until the end of the day. 4. There was no sliding or moving when applying makeup at the end. 5. The ingredients are very gentle. 6. It felt transparent and clean when applying. 7. It's fragrance-free. 8. It would be good to use in very dry winters!
Cons1. The water barrier feeling made me feel a bit stuffy over time. 2. From the late afternoon, my face started to feel a bit itchy, and when I scratched it, the makeup came off with it. 3. Compared to what I usually use, there was a slight stickiness. - It's very watery, but has a strange stickiness... 4. I usually apply moisturizer twice, but this formula didn't spread as well for the second application. 5. It's a Japanese product.
TipWhile the water barrier forms, it's also a bit too watery, so I had to make sure my oil-based base was strong enough. I have a product I'm already using, but I applied to try the Hwahae Trial, and I don't think I'll be switching over.
