As summer approaches, I mentioned I couldn't do my makeup for work. My mom gave me this, probably bought from a home shopping channel. The lavender case is totally my style. Now I understand why mom left it unused. First off, the scent is so strong it's like I'm heading to a perfume party. The lavender case and cream texture had me hoping for a brightening effect. But when I applied it, it turned into what? BB cream? Foundation? Definitely not the tone-up I expected (personal experience). It settles into pores like nobody's business. The transfer is ridiculous, and oh boy, it's just a mess. The worst part? It absolutely wrecked my skin. I'm fuming. Avoid at all costs, times a million. Although it's a brightening moisturizer, it's not dry or prone to pilling when applied! With my fair complexion (around shade 13), it provided a very natural coverage. However, on my mom's skin (shade 23), it appeared quite light. Depending on your skincare routine, it might not sit well on the skin!
