The eyeliner can sometimes come out too thick. If you use a small brush with minimal residue and gently sweep the end of the line, you can achieve a thin and natural eyeliner look.
If you powder too enthusiastically, the eyeliner may not apply as smoothly, so I recommend just powdering enough to prevent smudging.

The gel liner itself is on the thicker side. However, it doesn't cause any major inconvenience when applying.

Personally, I found using a brush pen eyeliner to be quite challenging, and I needed a natural color and smudge, so this was my first time trying a gel liner. But by properly powdering and filling it in, it didn't bleed even when applied to the waterline, and it worked well.
