Banila Co's cleansing products are fantastic for gently removing makeup. The Starry Night edition effortlessly melts away makeup with just a little massage. I love that it doesn't have a strong scent, and the texture is incredibly smooth - it's a winner in my book!
While using cleansing balms with your fingers might raise some hygiene concerns, you can easily solve this by using a spatula. So, to be honest, I can't really find any significant drawbacks.
