Scent - I was amazed by the authentic yuzu marmalade fragrance. It's not artificial, but a rich, genuine yuzu scent that I really enjoyed. It gave me a healing feeling on tough days. Hydration - It had a good balance of moisture and oil. It's a bit heavy, so I think it's much better to apply at night rather than during the day. I was worried it might leave a sticky residue on my pillow, but after gently patting it in, my face felt hydrated without any stickiness, which I loved. When I first applied it, it stung a little... I tend to experience some tingling with new products, and this one did that too. I wish it was a bit gentler. I thought it would get better, so I used about half the product, but it seems it doesn't agree with my skin. When I use it, my skin turns red and irritated. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 18, 2022
As a member of The Hwahae Testers, I'm sharing my review based on 5 days of use. My skin type is combination/oily, shade 23, acne-prone and sensitive. 1. Texture I've tried the Moonlight Yuzu Sleeping Pack before, but this time it's different. Initially, it felt more like a gel cream, but now it has a truly sleep pack-like consistency. It's delightfully bouncy and adheres well to the face. 2. Product Composition Made with 100% domestically produced Goheung yuzu, you can trust in its quality. 3. Fragrance It has the natural scent of yuzu products without any artificial notes. The fresh, citrusy aroma is perfect for unwinding after a long day, making it ideal for a relaxing sleeping pack routine. 1. Slight Tingling For some reason, there's a very subtle tingling sensation when first applying it to the face. Those with super sensitive skin should be cautious. For an extra refreshing experience, try using it chilled. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 19, 2022
The best part is the yuzu scent - it really smells like yuzu tea, which puts me in a great mood. The hydration is excellent, and when I apply it before bed, it doesn't smear all over. In the morning, my skin feels nice and firm. I think it's perfect for those with dry skin to use in summer. The downside is that, since I have psoriasis on my face, using it in winter doesn't provide enough moisture. If used as a cream substitute as described, the dry areas become even drier, redder, and there's a tingling sensation. Also, it might be a bit heavy for oily skin types. If you don't control the amount well and apply it too thickly, blemishes can appear, so proper amount control is crucial. It's great to keep it refrigerated in summer and apply a moderate amount before bed. The next morning, your skin feels smooth and moisturized, and it even helps cool you down while you sleep. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinApr 10, 2022
Excellent for hydration. Although it's a sleeping pack, I apply it generously like a regular cream. Unless it's the dead of winter, this is all you need for moisturizing. There's a slight tingling sensation, which I noticed is due to the alcohol in the ingredients list. I initially thought it might be from the yuzu extract. However, after using it for a while, my skin has adapted and it works well for me now. If you feel it's a bit irritating, try layering some aloe vera on top to soothe the skin. Applying aloe vera generously before and after use keeps the skin super hydrated. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 17, 2022
First, the scent: It has a delightful yuzu fragrance that I absolutely adore! As soon as you apply it, the yuzu aroma spreads, seemingly soothing your skin and lifting your mood. The scent is truly top-notch. Second, the ingredients: Packed with vitamins, it appears to have a brightening and calming effect on the skin. When I slather it on generously before bed, I wake up with plump, refreshed skin the next morning. Third, the texture: It has excellent absorption. Since it's a sleeping pack rather than a sheet mask, you apply it before bed and wash it off in the morning, which means less irritation for your skin. Fourth, the price: When it's on sale, the value for money is incredible. I believe I purchased it for around $10 during a sale. I highly recommend everyone to buy it when it's discounted! As for downsides... there aren't really any, but if I had to nitpick, I'd say that when you apply it to skin with active blemishes, it might sting a little. However, I think this is due to the vitamin content. Despite the slight tingling, it doesn't irritate or worsen the skin condition. If you apply this generously over your toner at night, you'll wake up with wonderfully supple skin in the morning. Highly recommended! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 5, 2022
I have combination skin that's dry on the cheeks, and I usually use cushion foundations in shades 22-23. The fragrance is lovely. I've been using it consistently twice a week, and many people have commented that my skin looks clearer. Occasionally, on days when my skin isn't at its best, it stings as soon as I apply it. When that happens, I just wipe it off immediately and go to bed. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinDec 28, 2021
I'm feeling good about this... I like the fragrance and the fact that it's a Hanyul product. Plus, it's such a well-known item! For a sleeping pack, I don't find it heavy at all, and the hydration isn't bad! (To be honest, the moisturizing effect isn't extraordinary... Is it meant for oily skin? I have dry skin, so I wonder if I bought the wrong product...) I was surprised... It stung immediately after application, which I haven't experienced in a while. Honestly, I had high hopes, but now I have no intention of purchasing it. The scent is too much like citron preserves, which I'm not fond of. After some time, it felt a bit drying, so it's not great as a sleeping pack either. If it were priced as a 1+1 deal, it might be worth it, but since it stung my skin, I probably won't buy it. Frankly, it doesn't live up to its famous reputation at all. For this price, there are many better options out there. It seems perfect for those days when you want to pamper yourself or need some healing - it gives a special feeling when you apply it. The fragrance and packaging are quite lovely! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 17, 2021
If I had to find something positive to say, I'd mention that the fragrance is pleasant It's extremely uncomfortable - causes a tingling and burning sensation. Seems like it doesn't agree with my skin at all, which is disappointing - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 8, 2021
The scent is absolutely citrusy, like yuzu! It's so refreshing when you apply it, it really lifts your mood. Being a Vitamin C sleeping mask, the formula has a lovely yellow color. I loved how hydrating it felt on my skin. The downside was that when I applied it to my face, I felt a slight tingling sensation and it seemed a bit irritating. However, when I looked in the mirror, my skin wasn't red or anything. After a little while, the feeling subsided and it was fine. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 8, 2021
The scent is absolutely divine! And when I apply it before bed, my skin feels so wonderfully hydrated in the morning! There were moments when it caused a slight tingling sensation. It was fine if I didn't have any open wounds though.
