  First off, when you come out after washing your hair, your scalp feels refreshingly cool. When drying with a hairdryer, it's like you've placed ice on your scalp.

  Cons

  The smell is absolutely awful. It just makes you nauseous and gives you a headache. It's like a mix of that stale cigarette smell you get in taxis combined with a chemical scent. It's even stronger than regular shampoo, so regardless of its effectiveness, I rarely reached for it due to the scent alone. It doesn't lather as well as other shampoos and is hard to rinse out. With my already oily scalp, washing is a pain, and this shampoo sticking around makes it worse. It's hard to rinse clean, leading to blemishes on my scalp - a vicious cycle. Also, when the shampoo touches my forehead, it feels cool, but not in a pleasant way. It feels like the shampoo hasn't washed off properly. I don't understand why people like it. It feels like I'm being gaslighted by the entire country. I had some hair loss before, but it got worse after using this. I forced myself to use it despite hating the smell because it's supposed to be good for hair loss. A few months ago, I switched to a different protein shampoo, and my hair loss almost disappeared. It might be okay for non-oily scalps? But the fact is, oily scalps account for a large portion of hair loss cases.

  Tip

  Instead of just rinsing the shampoo, think of it as eliminating it from your hair. If you wash with hot water, starting from the scalp, for almost 30 minutes, the shampoo smell is less noticeable and your scalp feels cool. But even then, it's not really worth using.
