I'm curious about how the extraction is done. If it involves animal cruelty, I'd be hesitant to repurchase.
Other than that, I don't see any other downsides.

This is a really great oil. It's not heavy at all, yet it's nourishing.
My skin's flakiness has calmed down, and it feels so moisturized.
I used to use it when it was popular, but it doesn't seem to be as popular these days.

It has a distinct fishy, minky scent with a hint of lemon. Those with sensitive noses may not like it. So I'd recommend just using it after cleansing, without any strongly scented products, to enjoy the best synergy with water.

The only downside is that in the summer, the glow can look a bit too oily and greasy. It's an inevitable issue with oil-based products in the humid, sticky summer season. But you can adjust the amount you use to manage it.
The main drawback is that if you use it before makeup, the longevity of your makeup suffers, as it has a cleansing oil-like effect. And your hair can get stuck to it, so you'll need to use a powder to control that.
But these issues can be easily managed by adjusting the amount and using a setting powder, so it's not a major problem.
The biggest downside is the price. It's one of the most expensive oils out there - a small 30ml bottle costs 45,000 won, and a set of two is 85,000 won. I'm going to try comparing it to other oils like camellia and jojoba to see if there are more affordable alternatives.

I think I've been using it for quite a long time, even since the days of Jang Seung-min's Mink Oil. But there are no reviews for it on Hwahae.
Surprisingly, just a few drops mixed with regular watery toner or the water left on your face after cleansing makes your skin glow! As someone with dry skin who uses a lot of oils, I cherish this one because it really helps manage my sebum and blackheads.
I've learned that using oil to dissolve oil is the way to go. It definitely helps with daily blackhead management, and surprisingly, I don't get any breakouts. This may be because I have dry skin, so those with oily skin may have different experiences. But you can refer to other users' cases.
Anyway, when I use this, my face doesn't feel tight at all, even on the coldest winter days. It regulates blackheads and whiteheads, and the moisturizing power is incredible, so it controls flakiness too. Highly recommended!
