The gel cream has a slight blue tint to it. It provides excellent hydration, leaving the skin feeling moisturized. Perhaps due to the alcohol content, it has a cooling effect that's great for reducing skin heat. After application, my skin feels noticeably softer. The fragrance is quite strong and artificial. Since it's a cream mask rather than a regular cream, it feels like it sits on top of the skin rather than being absorbed. I've been using this product since last winter, and it's been great for my combination skin. In winter, when my face tends to get dry and tight, this cream really helps combat deep dryness, even in the most parched areas. I tried out the sample I received. It's the one in the middle, on the right side of the back of my hand. I thought it was a gel-type sleeping pack. It feels cool and intensely hydrating. Perhaps because 'mask' is in the name, it has a nice enveloping feeling. I think it would be great as a final step in summer skincare routines. The fact that it's now discontinued? As someone with dry skin, I've been using this product for over 3 years. It was the secret to my skin's success... I'm so disappointed it's been discontinued. It's such a shame it's been discontinued. I'm currently on the hunt for a similar product to replace it.

It works well even when reapplied, and once you get used to applying it, it's very convenient to use. Although it's a mask, it's comfortable enough to use as a sleeping pack. It's neither too dry nor too rich, striking a perfect balance for a clean feel! I'm wondering why they distributed samples of a discontinued product. Even if it's discontinued, it feels like they just gave them away. Sad face.

I'm quite satisfied using this product as a moisturizer. The texture is just right - not too thin or heavy. The scent matches its name, reminiscent of volcanic sea water... it's similar to a sports drink, if you will. I found it refreshingly pleasant. Except for extremely dry days, I rarely felt like the hydration was evaporating when I applied this alone. It's definitely a cream I'd consider repurchasing. If there's one downside, it's that this seems to be on the pricier side within the Innisfree line. I've found it works well when used together with the volcanic sea water essence. You might be able to achieve an even more amplified effect that way.
