- It's moisturizing without feeling heavy or greasy - When applied, water droplets form that you can pat in for absorption - Initially appears white, but gradually blends in for a natural brightening effect It takes time to absorb if you apply too much, so it's best to use a moderate amount Not recommended for those seeking a dramatic brightening effect - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 7, 2021
The brightening moisturizer gives an incredibly natural-looking glow. You can expect about a half-shade lighter complexion. It's also very hydrating. It's really hard to tell if it's working. The brightening effect is so subtle that you can barely notice if it's doing anything at all. You need to apply at least three layers to see any difference. Because of this, if you apply concealer on top, it might cause some pilling. Despite claims of no residue, it does leave a bit of white powder-like residue around the nose area. Also, it has a strong herbal, somewhat artificial medicinal scent that might be off-putting for some. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 25, 2021
I love how moisturizing it is and the scent isn't overpowering. It gives a nice brightening effect without being too heavy. Until now, I've never had issues with skincare products, even when using them inconsistently. However, my skin reacted badly to this within just half a day. I applied my usual skincare, then this product, followed by sunscreen, and my skin completely flared up. I felt a slight tingling sensation during application. After only half a day, my skin became rough as if it was all irritated. A friend tried a small amount on their face and mentioned it stung a bit. It seems you really need to consider your skin type before purchasing this product. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 19, 2020
I usually avoid brightening moisturizers because I don't like excessive whitening effects, but I decided to try this one since it promised a subtle glow. First off, it really evens out my complexion and makes it look clean. I dislike the typical white cast that some brightening creams leave, but this one doesn't do that. Instead, it brightens darker areas, creating a uniform and clean look. It's not about lightening, but more about clarifying, which I really appreciate! Secondly, it's incredibly hydrating. As you can see in the photos, when you massage it in, it creates little moisture droplets, leaving your skin feeling hydrated and not dry at all. I used to think brightening creams were a bit stiff, but this one has a light emulsion texture that absorbs well. The scent is pleasant too. Overall, I'm very satisfied and continue to use it. While the hydration is great, if you apply a bit too much, it creates a lot of moisture droplets that take a while to absorb. You need to pat it in quite a bit. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinSep 7, 2020
It seemed like my skin naturally brightened on its own. My complexion looked healthier, and it felt as smooth as if I'd applied a primer, with a subtle glow and even some blurring of pores - I love it! Even when layering, it doesn't turn white or clump, staying moisturized. I use it every morning as a final step and once more during the day. The photo was taken on a day when I had quite a bit of dead skin cells and felt itchy. If I had used another brightening moisturizer on a day like this, it would have been a disaster with everything flaking off. I always make sure to use this product before applying cushion foundation! It doesn't pill, makes my skin look smooth, and helps my makeup last longer. When I'm just popping out for a bit, I only use this and some lip color. Because it's so hydrating, I tend to use a lot when reapplying, so I might go through it quickly. If you're looking for a dramatic brightening effect, you might want to skip this one. This is the best brightening moisturizer I've used so far! While other products made my skin noticeably whiter, this one gave more of a radiant effect. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAug 5, 2020
"There's no such thing as a moisturizing brightening moisturizer," you say? Well... here it is. A brightening moisturizer that's hydrating, naturally evens skin tone, has amazing staying power, and doesn't transfer at all. It's right here. To be honest, I got badly burned by a famous internet-hyped brightening moisturizer before, so I swore off them. But in these times, they've become essential. After endless searching, I found this product. Despite its low ranking, all the reviews were positive, and the company vibe seemed super hip, so I thought I'd give it a shot. And wow... it's seriously amazing! I have dry, sensitive skin, so even slightly incompatible base products make my skin flake and react. Especially brightening moisturizers, which are typically drying. But this one? When you apply it, water droplets appear! As you spread these droplets to absorb into your skin, it brightens your complexion. First of all, it's a hydration explosion and feels incredibly moisturizing. Naturally, there's zero flaking. Also, I'm not a fan of extreme brightening effects. If that's what I wanted, I'd just use foundation, right? (That's why I personally didn't like the famous Graymelin Tone Up Booster - it felt like applying a sheer foundation.) Anyway, I prefer a natural brightening effect, and this product delivers exactly that! The staying power is incredible too! I wore this for about 4 hours without touch-ups, and it looked just like when I first applied it... as if the brightened skin was my natural complexion. It stayed radiant. I was truly moved to tears. And most importantly: It doesn't transfer onto your mask! The Graymelin one transferred a lot, which was disappointing, but with this one... my mask stays clean! In conclusion, if you're looking for a "natural and moisturizing" brightening moisturizer, I highly recommend Flash Architect! It's a product you absolutely won't regret trying! Of course, in summer weather like now, it can make your hair stick a bit, but that's easily fixed with a quick dusting of powder! (I think I'll use this as my go-to skin product all winter long...) - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 14, 2020
This innovative product naturally enhances skin texture and brightens your complexion without looking chalky, making it appear as if your skin has been naturally elevated to the next level! Skin Type: In my teens, I had extremely oily skin. Entering my 20s, it became sensitive and combination with dehydration. My skin is quite reactive to cosmetic ingredients. I've even had bad reactions to fermented first essences, making my skin super sensitive. Application: It feels refreshingly cool like water, instantly absorbing into the skin with a pleasant sensation and quick application. The absorption is so good that you don't need to pat it in repeatedly. Effects: While it doesn't provide dramatic brightening, it naturally improves the appearance of skin texture. Compared to previously used products like Code Lumière Primer and Dr. Jart+ V7 Toning Light, this feels gentler on the skin. Other primers or brightening products often give immediate effects but can lead to dryness or blemishes over time (due to my sensitive skin). However, this Flash Architect product doesn't irritate my skin even after extended wear. It's great not just for makeup, but also for quick errands or brief meetups - just apply it for a natural, flawless look! Packaging: The product name is unique - directly translated as 'Light Architect'. Perhaps to showcase this, the packaging features a mesmerizing blend of colors on a white background - it's absolutely gorgeous! It's easy to spot, making it quick to grab during morning makeup routines (my vanity can be a bit chaotic). Definitely an item I'll always pack for travel! Volume: I don't apply it all over my face, focusing mainly on the forehead, cheekbones, and nose bridge, and it seems like it will last a long time. The generous amount makes it great value for money. There's nothing significantly disappointing about this product so far! It naturally enhances skin texture and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, so I'm extremely satisfied using it. If I had to nitpick, it would be about the packaging. When squeezing the tube, the material feels like it might develop creases or wrinkles over time. It's hard to describe, but the tube doesn't seem to have high elasticity or a very firm feel. However, this doesn't affect the product's effectiveness or ease of use at all. It's just a minor personal preference (I like a sturdy grip). I noticed that the effects vary depending on the order of application. In the basic skincare routine, I recommend this sequence: Toner (or serum) - Emulsion - Moisturizer - Brightening moisturizer (Flash Architect) - Sunscreen Applying it after sunscreen seems to reduce its absorption. I've also tried mixing it with moisturizer, which saves time and still absorbs well!
