Absolutely nothing positive to say. Not a single redeeming quality. I guess the only 'advantage' is the low price? But that just brings to mind the saying 'you get what you pay for'. I was using Clinique's Vitamin C serum and it worked wonders for my skin, so I thought I'd try a cheaper alternative with similar or higher concentration. With a mix of hope and curiosity, I ordered this from iHerb. Big mistake. The old adage 'you get what you pay for' rings true here. Compared to Clinique, this has zero benefits. Actually, it has no effect at all except turning my skin inside out. There's no comparison. I believe Vitamin C serums or essences work best for oily or combination dehydrated skin. They should at least reduce sebum production, leading to less dead skin cells, but this serum does nothing of the sort. No brightening effect on the complexion whatsoever. After use, it leaves a film-like feeling, and when I wash my face later, it feels slippery, which isn't great either. I know skincare products generally have minimal effects on skin improvement, but anyway, I'm going back to Clinique. I bought two of these and it's just money down the drain.

At first, I was concerned about the yellow color, thinking it might have oxidized, but after reading reviews, I learned it's normal. It's actually in a stable form of sodium ascorbyl phosphate, which is a good thing. I initially bought this product after reading Amazon reviews, looking for something to use with my derma roller. I applied it once a day before bed after washing my face. I noticed my complexion evening out as redness disappeared, and my skin texture became smoother. There's a pleasant orange-like scent, which I quite enjoyed. The feeling on the skin is clean, as if there are no harsh chemicals, which I really appreciated. The texture is more watery than what you'd expect from a serum. When using the dropper on your face, it tends to run down quickly. Even a few drops on the back of your hand will quickly drip off - that's how fluid it is. All ingredients are natural and skin-friendly. It has a honey scent and a thin honey-like texture that absorbs quickly and applies smoothly. The hyaluronic acid content helps reflect light, making your skin appear brighter. I use it together with this brand's niacinamide serum, which has helped with skin regeneration. The only downsides are that it's only available for purchase overseas and it's not exactly cheap. I purchased this product and retinol from iHerb and have been using them in parallel. After two months of use, my skin tone seems to have brightened up. ^^ There was a bit of irritation, as my skin was slightly reddened and bumpy at first. But it's not like that anymore.
