After reading reviews about potential blemishes from excessive richness when not severely dry, I applied a small amount widely, checking my skin's condition and layering more if needed. Surprisingly, even with my combination skin that doesn't usually feel very dry, it didn't cause any issues. I truly experienced what it means to have 'balance filled from within'. This product pairs perfectly with the season, and I'm definitely inclined to use it consistently. Now I'm curious about their other ampoule lines too!
ConsHowever, I imagine the user experience may vary from person to person. I'd recommend those with oily skin to be extra cautious when using this. If you apply it thoughtlessly thinking it absorbs quickly, you might find yourself in a predicament due to excess oil sitting on top of your skin.

My skin type has recently changed from oily to normal-dry. In the past, I was more concerned about my makeup sliding off due to excess oil rather than feeling dry. However, after wearing makeup almost daily for the past year, I've started to experience dryness and tightness for the first time. 1. Although I've only used it for about 10 days, it has significantly reduced the feeling of dryness. Before, I had to apply rich creams twice at night and use a skin mist multiple times due to lack of moisture. With this product, I no longer need the skin mist. 2. The tight feeling after cleansing has greatly diminished. While this could be partly due to less aggressive cleansing during the pandemic, this product seems to have maximized the effect. 3. It's excellent as a makeup base. I prefer a slightly dewy, natural look, and this product achieves just that. Applying only this as a base (I dislike using too many base products) results in a beautifully radiant skin appearance without being excessive. 4. Personally, I've noticed my skin becoming smoother and more beautiful. 5. Texture: Not runny Color: Slight purple tint (very pretty) Application: Glides on smoothly Quick summary: I'd buy it immediately if it were on sale or a bit cheaper, but at full price, I'm hesitant. I'm curious to try other products from this line as well.
Cons1. The initial texture... At first, the viscosity felt like honey, which was off-putting. I squeezed out too much initially, but using too much causes it to sit on the skin. I wasn't fond of the texture. 2. Coverage after makeup... While it creates a beautiful skin appearance before makeup, it tends to transfer easily. For some reason, foundation coverage seems to decrease when applied over this. If you're looking for a product that provides inner hydration with a matte finish, you might want to reconsider. It doesn't help with makeup adherence at all, though it does make the skin look pretty. 3. For me, redness is usually controlled by hydration levels. While this product makes my skin texture look amazing and provides great elasticity, it doesn't seem to reduce redness much. It feels more rich in oils than truly hydrating (which was initially disappointing). 4. This might be just me, but occasionally I feel a slight burning sensation under my eyes, in the aegyo-sal area.
TipPersonally, I think it's fine to use before makeup, but when you do, it makes your skin feel very supple after application, which can cause hair to stick to your face. Still, the skin appearance is so beautiful... Also, I found that squeezing out just enough to cover your entire face in one go seems to be the ideal amount.
