Everyday use: The colors are versatile and suitable for daily wear, striking a perfect balance between subtle and noticeable. ESTHER BUNNY edition: The packaging is absolutely adorable! It's just too cute for words. Excess: There doesn't seem to be any issue with excess powder fallout. Blemishes: I didn't experience any blemishes or skin reactions after using this product. Portability: It's about the size of a notepad, making it ideal for carrying around in your makeup bag.
ConsColor payoff: Some of the lighter shades seem to lack pigmentation. You might need to apply multiple layers to achieve the desired effect. Fragility: The shimmery eyeshadows tend to break easily. I've had about four instances of breakage so far. Price: The regular price of 27,000 won feels a bit steep. It might be worth waiting for a sale to get better value for money.
TipPro tip: If your eyeshadow breaks, crush it finely and press it back together with a damp wipe. It'll be good as new! Here's my go-to eye makeup routine using this palette: 1. Apply Pink Mochi (base, #1) all over the lid. It's subtle but creates a nice canvas. 2. Use Rose Macaron (#2) on the inner corner of the eye. 3. Apply Berry Chocolat (#3) to the outer corner for depth and dimension. 4. Use Choco Tart (#9) as an eyeliner alternative, applying it close to the lash line. 5. Finally, add your choice of shimmer. I often reach for Red Bean Mousse (#8) for a pop of sparkle.

Today I'll be reviewing the Lilybyred eyeshadow palette. I'll cover the case, colors, and application. Let's start with the case, shall we? If you're into cute things, you'll absolutely adore this case. The Esther Bunny design is such a delightful touch! Definitely worth collecting! Next up are the colors. In my personal opinion, these shades might suit cool-toned folks better than warm-toned. If you have a warm complexion and are considering buying this, I'd recommend thoroughly checking out other reviews and testing it in-store. The color selection is really well-curated! Unfortunately, the first and third shadows in the second row are broken (*please keep this in mind when reading the review*). Lastly, let's talk about application. The shadows have a soft, powdery feel, so they apply beautifully on the eyelids.
ConsWhen I swatched these on my arm for the review photos, the pigmentation was oddly weak (*even after rubbing about 7 times*). It seemed to show up better on my eyes though... Also, if you're not a fan of shimmer, you might find the pearl effect a bit overwhelming. The darkest shade tended to apply patchily :( For these reasons, I've deducted one point.
TipThe left photo was taken in sunlight, while the right one was shot against a white wall. Both pictures were taken with a regular camera, no filters applied. Please use this for reference!

The palette has a nice balance of shades for contouring, highlighting, base colors, and glitters. The color selection is really well-curated.
ConsThe palette is mostly matte shadows, which seem to have somewhat less pigmentation than expected.

For Esther Bunny fans, it's just... no words needed! The palette overall gives a bright and cute impression, like a rabbit with slightly reddish eyes!!! The top row is a calm dried rose combination, the second row is a vibrant and lively mix, and the last row is a relatively deep combination with indie pink and pink-brown tones!!! Being a 9-pan palette, it's easy to create different looks.
ConsThe color payoff is a tiiiny bit weak... It would have been nice if there was a cool-toned brown without red undertones for adding some dimension. While we're at it, Romand, how about adding some embossing too?

The fine shimmer particles add a beautiful sparkle.
ConsThe color payoff is a bit disappointing - it takes 2-3 applications to achieve this look. Not sure why that pink shade is even included. There's quite a bit of fallout from both the shimmer and powder.
TipUsing the chocolate brown shade with a small brush as an eyeliner alternative isn't a bad idea. By the way, I got this as part of a limited edition collection.

The design is incredibly cute. I bought the Esther Bunny edition, and it's just adorably sweet. Bunnies are my love! The color selection is fantastic. It's like they read my mind and gathered all the shades I'd use. The overall vibe is very pink, with a nice progression from base to pink to pink-brown to brown, perfect for creating depth and dimension. The shimmer is absolutely mesmerizing! I usually stick to matte shades for a soft look, but these shimmers nearly made me faint. They're so ethereally beautiful, it's the first time I've truly appreciated how gorgeous shimmer can be. The staying power is great. As a student, I check after school and tutoring (about 12 hours), and it's still there! The texture is incredibly fine. The powder is so finely milled, it applies smoothly without any patchiness. Let's break down each shade (swatches from right to left): - Pink Mochi: Pink + white base with a slightly muted undertone - Rose Macaron: Pink-brown (matte), like Pink Mochi with a touch of brown - Berry Chocolat: 90% brown, 10% pink, not too dark (matte) - Popping Candy: Dazzling pink shimmer + silver shimmer - Strawberry Gelato: Vibrant pink matte shadow - Cherry Crunch: Pink base with pink, silver, and gold shimmers - Berry Bonbon: Muted pink base with gold and pink shimmers - Red Bean Mousse: Lighter than it looks, similar to Etude House's Syrup Take Out minus the pearls - Chocolate Tart: Deep, rich matte chocolate brown
ConsThe pigmentation of the matte shadows is a bit weak, especially Strawberry Gelato.
TipOverall, it's a well-balanced palette that leans warm but can suit anyone. My go-to look: I use Pink Mochi as a base, then apply Rose Macaron over a slightly smaller area. I add Berry Chocolat to the outer corner, sweep Strawberry Crunch across the lid, and highlight the aegyo-sal (under-eye area) with Popping Candy. My favorites are Strawberry Crunch and Popping Candy!

As someone who loves pink makeup but has a hard-to-match skin tone, I was thrilled when I heard they finally released eyeshadows. I rushed to buy them as soon as they hit stores. The shimmer shadows are incredibly pigmented and the colors are gorgeous!
ConsThe matte shadows are a bit less pigmented, and I've had some issues with them crumbling even though I haven't dropped the palette.
