I have sensitive, dehydrated, and oily skin. Upon receiving the product, I was impressed by its modern packaging that perfectly captures the essence of the product. Since it was hot when I received it, I initially stored it in the refrigerator to cool it down. That evening, I used it as part of my '3-skin method' routine, and I was immediately pleased by its fragrance-free formula. I had expected a nutty scent due to the rice ingredient, but the absence of fragrance was perfect for my sensitive skin. The texture is similar to a light emulsion, which surprised me at first. However, after applying it three times, I was amazed by how well it absorbed and improved my skin texture. Due to my deep dryness, I usually do the '3-skin method', but with this product, applying it once or twice was enough to combat dehydration. The cooling effect, likely due to refrigeration, lasted quite well. Since it's not entirely oil-free, I preferred using it in my evening routine rather than in the morning. I highly recommend this to those who sleep with a fan, air conditioner, or open window and worry about skin dryness! As someone with sensitive skin, I'm very particular about ingredients, but this toner was gentle and effective in addressing deep dryness and providing hydration.
ConsIf I had to point out a downside, it's that the product isn't completely oil-free, which made it slightly challenging to use during the sudden temperature rise and summer season. For areas like my forehead with oily sebum and my chin affected by mask-wearing, it seemed to do more harm than good in terms of soothing. Therefore, I wouldn't particularly recommend it for oily skin types prone to increased sebum production. It seems more suitable for dry skin types who need both oil and moisture balance. In an effort to provide an honest review, I tried hard to find flaws, but the only other issue I could note was a slight stinging if it gets into your eyes. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I think I'll reach for this product more in autumn and winter rather than summer!
TipDuring hot summer days, try storing the product in the refrigerator and then applying it to your face using thin cotton pads as a skin pack. This method provides both a cooling effect and hydration! For those with combination dehydrated skin, I recommend using it in the evening when temperature differences are more pronounced for its moisturizing properties. If you have dry skin, it could be suitable for both morning and evening use!
