  It brightens your complexion quickly with just a small amount, and it's so easy to use. Perfect for when you have plans nearby - you can apply it as easily as sunscreen before heading out.

  Cons

  When I use this product alone, I get small blemishes on my cheeks. They're almost like tiny blisters... They always seem to appear in the evening of the day I apply it. It's not a lot, just one or two. Also, it tends to clog my pores quite badly.

  Pros

  I found the natural pink glow it gives to be more appealing than other brightening moisturizers. It really makes your complexion look radiant.

  Cons

  I didn't check the ingredients at first, but when my entire face suddenly broke out, I looked it up on Hwahae and was shocked to find so many problematic ingredients. I really can't recommend this for those with super sensitive skin. It's also extremely rich, so you almost need to dip it in water first to make it usable. If you apply it directly, it feels too oily and tends to pill.

  Tip

  I used the method that was trending on Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts for foundations - squeezing it into a paper cup of water to remove excess oil. When applied this way, it absorbed better and didn't cause my skin to break out. Unfortunately, when I used it as is, my face reacted badly.

  Pros

  I used this as both a sunscreen and a makeup base. It was great to apply before BB cream without UV protection, and when my BB cream looked grayish, I could mix it half-and-half for a neutralizing effect. It was also convenient for complementing other products. On days when I didn't feel like wearing full makeup, it was nice to just apply this and cover blemishes with concealer or BB cream. It has enough coverage to even out the complexion.

  Cons

  It leaves a slightly rich finish, but that's understandable since I used it as a sunscreen alternative. There's nothing particularly special about AHC's product, and it seems all brightening moisturizers with sun protection are quite similar.

  Tip

  After trying Moonshot and Miba, I've reevaluated AHC. Among the three, AHC is definitely the top choice!

  It gives a natural tone with a beautiful glow. It doesn't transfer to masks at all, making it my favorite product during the pandemic. I'm still using it every day. It's so great because it looks like I'm wearing makeup!

  Cons

  As it's a brightening moisturizer, it can't cover blemishes. If you have a lot of blemishes, it's better to use it with a concealer.

  Tip

  For those with many facial blemishes, it's better to apply this after dabbing on some concealer.
