I recently switched cosmetics and it seems they didn't agree with my skin. My face became red, I developed small bumps, and my skin got irritated, causing sudden excessive flaking. In a panic, I used the Abib mask I had in my fridge!
Being cold, it quickly calmed my skin. It was much more effective at soothing my reddened skin compared to other tea tree masks! After using it for three consecutive days, the redness completely disappeared and most of the small bumps went away. I was already fond of products with Houttuynia Cordata, so I think that's why it was particularly effective for me! I highly recommend this to anyone who's had success with Houttuynia Cordata products. It's perfect to keep on hand for those times when your skin suddenly acts up!
I had previously used Lush's lavender-colored fresh mask (I forget the name) with blueberries for quick soothing, and this was just as effective for rapid calming!
While it didn't work on major blemishes, I was amazed at how it calmed all the small, potentially emerging red areas in just three days. It's truly impressive!
I'll definitely be stocking up on this for future use!
After using it, my skin feels dry when I wake up! I usually don't apply cream after masking because it's a hassle, but with this one, it's best to at least slather on a sleeping pack or something similar after use.
After using the mask, I apply my usual sleeping pack! Honey-like or gel-cream textures seem to enhance the soothing effects of the Abib Houttuynia Cordata mask even further. When your skin is in dire need of care, try a 3-day intensive treatment with the Houttuynia Cordata mask followed by a sleeping pack!
