The mask was absolutely soaked in essence - there was so much left in the packet even after applying it to my face! I grabbed another cotton pad and used the remaining essence to give my sister a mini-mask treatment too. Talk about getting more bang for your buck! The hydration seems really good as well.
I thought the texture would be plush, but it's just your typical glycerin and carbomer formulation. Even when I used my Pra.L galvanic device, it didn't absorb quickly, which was disappointing. While it doesn't leave a thick, sticky layer, it feels more like surface hydration rather than deep moisture, which is a bit of a letdown.
