Honest review from a male in his 20s with oily skin
I still have the Dr. Alga sunscreen I received as a gift and used before. First off, like many other reviews mention, it passes the hydration test. It seems like the perfect sunscreen for those with dry skin. While the ingredients are said to be good, for my oily skin, it was a bit of a miss... However, the absorption is really excellent.
The most important factor for me, a man with oily skin, is the white cast. I see glowing reviews saying there's almost no white cast, but mineral sunscreen is still mineral sunscreen... It has a pinkish-gray tint. Sunscreen needs to be applied generously to be effective, but you can't apply that much of this product... And then there's the price - it's a fail. It feels too much like a brightening moisturizer.
This sunscreen is clearly meant for 'women'. Not recommended for women with oily skin or any men. It might be good for women without oily skin. It's very hydrating.
