The color payoff and staining power are excellent. Highly recommended for warm bright skin tones that look great with vibrant shades. It's the type that develops a more luminous glow as time passes after application. The staining is too intense. It was even more disappointing for me as my lips don't stain evenly. After application, it feels suffocating, like having plastic wrap on your lips. Unlike modern products, it applies thickly, making your lips uncomfortable. The scent is overpowering. I tried my best to use it regularly, but couldn't overcome the personal color mismatch, and it ended up expiring. I much prefer the renewed, current version, so I recommend that one instead! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 23, 2023
An orange-red tint. Comparison shots of one application versus a full lip application. True to its 'coating' name, the finish is incredibly smooth. The stained effect after wiping off looks prettier than when fully applied. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 22, 2022
The color is a strong coral-pink red lip with a deep undertone. If you're expecting a moisturizing feel, you might be disappointed - it's more of a thick jelly texture. It stains quickly, making gradation difficult. I bought it thinking it would be a moisturizing lip product, and while it is somewhat hydrating, it's less so than I expected. Personally, I love the scent. It's sweet with a candy-like fragrance. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinJan 22, 2021
1) The color payoff is natural-looking. It's a subtle orange-red shade that isn't too vibrant, and I love how it applies for a natural finish. (Even for my cool-toned skin, it doesn't look out of place - check out the photos for the color and staining effect!) 2) The scent is absolutely delightful. Perhaps because of its name, it has a slightly sweet and tangy aroma reminiscent of peach or grapefruit, which I really enjoy. 3) It has a subtle glow. Being a coating tint, it gives a jelly-like sheen! As someone who prefers glossy lips, I absolutely adore this. 4) The case design is sleek and elegant. The rectangular shape with its matte finish and engraved Lilybyred logo is so calming and beautiful. (The product name is pretty too!) While I love it as someone who prefers glossy lips, I wouldn't recommend it to those who prefer matte finishes. Also, if you're looking for something with more intense color payoff and staining power, this might not be for you. Other than that, I didn't find any major drawbacks! I found that creating a gradient lip using this along with Lilybyred Juicy Liar Water Tint 02 #PretendingToBeCherry looks absolutely stunning! If you're considering getting both, I'd say go for it without hesitation! - Hwahae UserOily SkinNov 22, 2020
The color is absolutely gorgeous, and it makes my lips sparkle beautifully! I'm already on my third one! It's a bit disappointing that it leaves a slight pink stain on the lips. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 18, 2020
The color looks so natural. It's perfect for enhancing my lip color just a bit, which is exactly what I wanted. It stains quickly, leaving marks where applied. I'm stretching this to meet the minimum character count. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 5, 2020
It's wonderfully moisturizing and absorbs beautifully. The color is a perfect, pretty orange! The biggest disappointment was that although it's orange, it stains pink. Personally, I found it a bit too hydrating for my taste, as I usually prefer matte types. The staying power was also somewhat lacking, as it seemed to fade faster than expected. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinMar 20, 2020
The moisturizing and glossy formula didn't accentuate any dead skin cells! It was a bit disappointing that while the color was grapefruit-like when applied, it stained with a pink tint. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 18, 2020
Since it's a moisturizing tint, there's hardly any emphasis on dead skin cells. This makes it easy to use for a natural look. The color isn't too intense, so it's perfect for wearing to school. Plus, the shade is a really pretty vermilion that I absolutely adore! The staining effect turns pink... why do most of my tints end up with a pink stain? Also, maybe because it's so moisturizing, but the staying power is really not great. It's so moisturizing that it feels a bit sticky. It's slightly bothersome when eating. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 2, 2020
I really liked the color! Instead of a darker cherry-like red, this apple-grapefruit shade suited me perfectly. Above all, being a coating tint, it felt wonderfully moisturizing. It truly showed me what glass-like shine means! While the strong staining power is generally considered a plus for tints, it might be a bit overwhelming for teenagers. Also, when I wore this tint, I often got asked what I had applied to my lips. I recommend dispensing a small amount of the tint at the opening before applying.
