I originally bought this because I love orange lip colors. When swatched on my hand, it's a lovely orange-brown, but it turns pink on my lips (my lips tend to bring out pink tones). The staining effect is quite impressive - it sets in completely after a while, leaving a pink tint. As someone with a deep undertone and warm-neutral skin, it worked well for me. If you're not an extreme cool tone, you'll likely find this shade flattering. The staying power is great if you're not eating constantly. What's really impressive is how forgiving it is on dry lips. I struggle with lip texture, and this applies smoothly even without exfoliation. However, on extremely dry days, the staining can be a bit intense. Overall, it's good value for money, but if you're not a fan of pink staining, you might want to skip this one.
The quick and intense pink staining can be a bit disappointing if that's not the look you're going for.
For best results, exfoliate your lips beforehand. Given its intensity, I'd recommend trying a gradient look rather than full coverage application.
