The packaging is absolutely stunning! While the fingerprint-prone finish is a bit of a downside, that elegant blue shimmer is just irresistible. It's so luxurious and sparkly!
ConsAs someone with dry skin, I had high hopes when I heard this was moisturizing, but... I'm not really feeling the hydration, to be honest! I'm dabbing it on with the mesh puff, but maybe I'm just clumsy... There's no dewy or glowy finish - it's more of a semi-matte look. I believe cushions should be light and convenient, but this one isn't really. While the case is beautiful, it's thick like the To Go Cushion, which compromises portability. Department store cushions are generally pricey, but Armani seems exceptionally expensive. Unfortunately, I don't think the quality justifies the high price tag.

I even react badly to shea butter. I thought I had oily skin, but when I use products for oily skin, my dead skin cells go crazy and I can't wear makeup at all. My skin also can't handle galactomyces or various fermented filtrates. * Previous foundations: Estée Lauder Futurist, Espoir Be Glow, Be Silk Here's my review after two months of use. This is my third cushion from a department store brand, following Bobbi Brown and MAC. Personally, I liked the Armani Blue Cushion the most. I like this product so much that I plan to buy a refill when I finish it! 💙It has a natural charm. While it's sheer, it definitely brightens my skin tone. I usually use shade 13/17 Porcelain, and I have fair skin. It makes my skin look amazing. 💙I love the natural coverage. I have acne pigmentation and redness, which really stands out on my pale skin. Since foundation alone can't cover everything, I use concealer separately. This level of coverage works well for me! I actually tested the 'To Go' version of the Armani cushion, but it didn't suit me at all. It looked like I wasn't wearing makeup... But this product definitely has improved coverage. 💙It's moisturizing! It's not dewy, but more of a glow. At first, you might think it's matte, but the magic of this cushion happens 30 minutes after application! After exactly 30 minutes, a natural glow appears. It's not sticky like dewy finishes, but looks so luxurious. 💙The staying power is incredible. I've seen reviews on YouTube and blogs saying it disappears after about 6 hours, but that wasn't my experience at all! Even with wearing a mask all day, the staying power was excellent. 💙There's almost no transfer or stickiness. Despite the beautiful glow, there's very little transfer or stickiness! Even the nose bridge and cheekbones, which usually get rubbed by masks, didn't wear off much. I'm also using Estée Lauder Futurist and Clé de Peau V Cushion right now, and they have much more mask transfer and rubbing off compared to the Armani cushion. 💙Usually, cushions give me blemishes so I can't repurchase them, but this product doesn't cause any issues. Even when my skin is flaky, despite being a balm type, it barely emphasizes dead skin cells.
Cons✔️The coverage might be low for some. I'm satisfied, but if you want a cushion that gives high coverage in one step, you might be disappointed. ✔️Oily skin types might find it greasy! If you keep your skincare routine simple, it might be okay, but since it starts matte and then develops a glow after about 30 minutes, those with oily skin might not like it. ✔️It can emphasize pores! This isn't really a problem, and I'll share a tip on how to avoid this in the additional tips section. ✔️When I apply three layers of Torriden serum (which contains hyaluronic acid) and then this product, it pills up like dead skin. This doesn't happen with other products, so there must be some ingredients in the Armani cushion that don't play well together.
Tip💛Here's a tip for the pore emphasis issue I mentioned in the cons! It had been a while since I used a balm-type product, and I have large pores. When I first applied it by patting like a regular cushion, my pores looked unfilled and gaping! In that case, instead of immediately patting, take some product on the puff, press it onto your cheek, and spread it in one direction. Then pat. This fills in pores really well and applies smoothly without feeling heavy. 💛Personally, I found the original puff too hard and it made the product apply patchily. So at first, I used a different puff and it applied much better! But then I felt bad about wasting the original puff, so I tried putting a bit of liquid foundation on it, spreading it evenly, and then using it. The application became much better! If you feel like the product is sitting on top of your skin or not absorbing well, I recommend trying this method! Either use a softer puff or add a bit of liquid foundation to the original puff.
