It has a nice glow and medium coverage, making it suitable for quick trips nearby or touch-ups. The hydration didn't last as long as I expected, and it has that typical grayish tint of BB creams. It's not quite sufficient as a foundation replacement. - sj*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 11, 2018
It applies thinly without feeling greasy, leaving the skin moisturized. The coverage is light, slightly fading blemishes, but I liked that it doesn't feel heavy. It also washes off easily. It tends to cause some blemishes on the skin. It negatively affects redness and skin issues. As time passes, it has a slight tendency to gather around the pores on the nose (though not severely), requiring continuous touch-ups. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 2, 2018
It absorbs well, leaving my skin feeling hydrated. I love that shade 13 Ivory isn't too light! I preferred the formula before it was reformulated. Also, the case keeps coming apart... I don't have any special tips, but I have dry skin, so this moisturizing cushion seems to work well for me. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinSep 19, 2017
I've tried all three types of Laneige BB cushions. Comparing them, the Anti-Aging one is definitely the most hydrating! The hydration isn't a cooling, watery feeling, but as the name suggests, it has a slightly rich texture. The Pore Control feels cool and hydrating when applied, then sets to a soft finish. The Whitening glides on smoothly and feels like it sets in place, while the Anti-Aging is noticeably more hydrating both during application and after it sets compared to the other two. It's not overly sticky, but it might transfer a bit if touched. I used shade 13 for all (13c and 21c for Pore Control). The Anti-Aging 13 feels slightly darker. Laneige's 13 isn't too light, so it's perfect for me as I'm between 13-21 (around 17). The Whitening color matches me best, while the Anti-Aging is slightly darker, giving a more natural look. The coverage isn't extremely high but offers medium coverage. It's said to have the highest coverage among the three, and it definitely seems higher than the Pore Control. The staying power is good. Despite being hydrating and feeling rich, it doesn't break down messily. (Surprisingly, I found the Whitening to have the best staying power.) It's hard to recommend for specific skin types... I have oily skin and found it a bit sticky and prone to caking. However, it might not work for dry skin either. I rarely get dead skin cells, but even I noticed some flaking in dry areas while my oil production went into overdrive. The oil and moisture balance just doesn't work for me. While Laneige offers many shades, they tend to run dark. Even I might need to use shade 11 for a brightening effect with Laneige cushions. The Anti-Aging 13 looked a bit dull. The cool undertones have a noticeable pink tint, which I didn't like due to my redness. Those with lighter skin than shade 13 might struggle to find a matching color in the Laneige Anti-Aging line. It seems overpriced for the quality? Maybe it's because of the pretty case. To be honest, Laneige doesn't seem to have a line that's highly recommended for dry skin, but if any, maybe the Anti-Aging...? It might work well for those with slightly dry but smooth skin (only for those blessed with perfect skin). I'd recommend both the Whitening and Pore Control for normal to oily skin! Surprisingly, the Whitening, which I thought would be the most unremarkable, turned out to be the best match and highest quality among the cushions I've tried! I'll write a separate review for the Whitening. - hi*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinMay 11, 2017
This cushion has been my go-to throughout the winter! It's wonderfully hydrating, offers great coverage, and doesn't darken at all. I'm absolutely thrilled with it and have already repurchased. However, being a cushion, it does tend to settle into nose creases a bit, but touching up solves that issue. One drawback is that due to its hydrating nature, it's really only suitable for winter use. Definitely not a summer option! Personally, I found that using a third-party air puff or sponge worked better than the included applicator. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 30, 2017
Initially, I was worried it might be too bright. But as I used it, I realized the pink base naturally enhances my complexion. It's really good! The staying power is terrible, and don't expect any coverage. Also, it's extremely hydrating, which might not be ideal for summer use. - cj********Dry SkinSensitive SkinApr 29, 2017
I usually use shade 21! It gives a lovely brightening effect! I use it for touch-ups, haha! If you apply it without a BB cream underneath, I mean if there's nothing between your skin and this cushion (except for toner and emulsion), it tends to break down. My cheeks ended up completely covered in tiny blemishes. That's why I only use it for afternoon touch-ups! I always make sure to apply BB cream before using this, hehe! - wl*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 23, 2017
I've only been using it for a month, so I'm not sure if it'll last for 3 months, but I made an educated guess! Looking at my foundations and cushions at home, I realized I tend to prefer matte finishes for my lips and overall makeup. So, I wanted to try something a bit more hydrating, and this might just be my holy grail cushion! The coverage seems to be medium to high, and the staying power is great. It doesn't trigger excess oil production, and the wide range of shades is a huge plus! Surprisingly, when I blew my nose with a tissue, no foundation came off - does that mean it has good adherence? I was so amazed I tried it several times, and still no transfer! There's not much to complain about, but if I had to pick something, it would be the fingerprints left on the cushion case every time I use it. It's a bit bothersome. - sd*****Dry SkinApr 16, 2017
I've been using this since before it was reformulated, so I just trusted it and bought it again. It's easier to control the amount compared to the original version. If there's one downside, it's that the anti-aging product used to be really hydrating, but the reformulated version feels a bit drier. (I remember briefly wondering if I had accidentally bought the pore control version when I first used it.) - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinFeb 26, 2017
It's pleasantly moisturizing, naturally brightens the complexion, and adheres well to the skin. I think it would be great for those with dry skin. Since the cushion is quite dewy, it seems to lack in coverage. While it might be fine for those with dry skin, people with extremely dry skin might find it not quite moisturizing enough.
