  Pros

  I'm already on my third tube! The color payoff is naturally beautiful, and I love that it barely stains my lips, which is perfect for me. It's also so moisturizing that I can carry just this one product without needing a separate clear lip balm.

  Cons

  There's nothing I dislike about it! The only minor issue is that the outer packaging tends to wear off and fade with use.

  Pros

  1. I tend to get a lot of dead skin cells on my lips, but after applying this, there's noticeably less flaking and it feels more hydrating than other lip balms. 2. The color is good enough for daily use without needing to add a tint. 3. I'm usually sensitive to cosmetic scents, but this one doesn't bother me at all and actually smells nice!

  Cons

  1. There seems to be a bit of staining, though it's not too severe. 2. It dries out rather quickly, so you need to reapply often.

  Tip

  Personally, I usually apply lip tint over lip balm. When I use this product under my lip tint, it absorbs well and gives a dewy, moisturized look. Plus, since the lip balm itself has some color, it seems to enhance the pigmentation of the lip tint!

  I loved both the lip care and color payoff as a lip balm. Highly recommended especially for those trying a tinted lip balm for the first time! I occasionally use it as a substitute for lip tint, and it works pretty well. For reference, I have a deep undertone complexion.

  Cons

  The downside was having to apply it with my fingers. It's a bit inconvenient, you know? Since it's tinted and gets on your hands, you always need to have tissues handy. This aspect might be a hit or miss for some people.

  Tip

  This product is perfect for a natural makeup look! If you apply it carefully, it gives a beautifully subtle effect, so I definitely recommend it.

  This seems to be the best lip balm for a bare-faced look. Among my lip balms, it has the most natural lip color, giving a lively tint. I dislike sticky lip products, but this one glides on smoothly without any stickiness.

  Cons

  As a lip balm, its functionality is somewhat disappointing. It feels more like it's forming a layer rather than providing hydration.

  Tip

  This lip balm is great for use on its own with a bare face or foundation-free makeup. If you have dry lips when applying makeup, it might be good to use this as a base layer.

  Pros

  I've been going foundation-free lately and was looking for a color lip balm to add just a touch of makeup. That's when I found this one. My lips are extremely dry, so I've tried many lip balms. This one is surprisingly moisturizing compared to others I've used, and the hydration lasts quite a while, which is great! Usually, color lip balms are too sheer for my liking, but My Lip Balm provides just the right amount of color. It's not bad as a lipstick substitute when I'm wearing makeup!

  Cons

  I've been using it for a month now, and there's nothing particularly disappointing about it! Just keep in mind that it does leave a slight stain, so you'll need to make sure you cleanse properly.

  Tip

  For a more intense makeup look, I like to use My Lip Balm as a base and then apply lipstick just to the inner part of my lips for a pop of color. It keeps everything hydrated and looks great!

  Pros

  Of all the lip balms I've tried, this one had the best color payoff. I tend to have quite a bit of dead skin cells on my lips, but if I apply this a few minutes before doing my makeup and then reapply, it goes on smoothly. The scent is pleasant, just like its name suggests, so it wasn't off-putting at all. What I really appreciated was that despite being a lip balm, it didn't have that slippery feeling, which made me like it even more.

  Cons

  The only downside? You need to be careful when squeezing it out, as a firm squeeze can dispense more product than you might want.

  This is perfect for those like me who don't suit intense tint colors. It's like a regular warm-toned dried rose shade diluted in water. While it's clearly not my natural lip color, it gives a natural-looking tint that makes it appear so. The hydration wasn't bad either. As a lip balm, it performed decently across the board.

  I'm not writing this review to highlight the positives, so here's the main point. I don't usually scrutinize ingredients in color cosmetics. While I might for skincare, finding color products with zero problematic ingredients is like finding a needle in a haystack. When I bought this, I only checked the number of potentially harmful ingredients and thought it would be fine. However, whether due to ingredient incompatibility or not, using this product alone caused blemishes around my lips. It's not just my imagination - every night after using it, I'd notice small bumps. Tiny blemishes and pimples would appear not just around my mouth and philtrum, but even along my lip line. I never knew you could get pimples on your lips - squeezing them was incredibly painful. Even after cleansing, extracting, and applying soothing products, while they'd subside somewhat by the next day, small ones would keep popping up, making the area around my mouth look quite messy. You might think I used the container unhygienically, but this is a fairly new product, and I've always been careful to keep the lip balm applicator clean.

  Tip

  Considering it's not exactly cheap, I'd recommend testing it generously in-store and checking for any reactions until the following night before purchasing.
