It's so good when sprayed on knitwear and the fragrance lingers nicely. I'm the type whose perfume doesn't last very long, but Santal really lasts a long time and the scent lingers for a while too.
That's why when I apply it, people always ask me what perfume I'm wearing.
The lingering scent has a leathery note, and I sometimes mix it with Tam Dao when I apply it. I layer fragrance upon fragrance 🤣🤣

The leather-like aspect of the fragrance is a bit off-putting to me, and the overall cloying feeling makes me hesitant to purchase the full bottle.

I purchased the Discovery and tried sniffing the fragrance, and there seems to be an unknown fruity scent, maybe like peach? I'm not sure if real fruit was actually used, but at first, I got a brief fruity note, then a strong leather-like aroma took over. 
Afterwards, a prominent musky note is blended in, creating an overall heavy and rich scent that I think would suit autumn and winter.

While the leather-like smell may sound odd, the combination of musk and fruit is actually quite balanced and suitable for both men and women.

In the dry down, the scent becomes even more pleasant, with a soft and subtle fig-like sweetness emerging. The projection and longevity also seem well-executed, making this a well-crafted fragrance. I don't think there will be strong love-hate reactions, but personally, I found the initial and middle stages a bit overpowering and cloying.

As a side note, I also detect some woody notes, like tea, blended with a slightly sweet fig, creating an creamy green tea latte-like aroma in the dry down, which I think would also work well for the autumn and winter seasons, without being too polarizing.

The only downside to Le Labo is always the price, but the quality guarantees the price, so there's no regret~~~~~^^*

This is my favorite perfume. It's the perfect scent for those who love woody fragrances, and it's the best for me! I have a slightly more sensitive sense of smell than others, and strong perfumes tend to give me headaches quickly. But with Chantal, even though it's a strong perfume, it doesn't give me a headache at all!!!!
In general, it seems like all of the Le Labo perfumes are like that (subjectively). Of course!! For those who have a developed sense of smell like me but don't like perfumes, all perfumes will probably just give them headaches...!! 
Anyway, I love Chantal so much, and the longevity of the fragrance is far superior to others. The unisex scent is so appealing to me. I'm almost out of it and it makes me sad that I can't use it for a while due to the duty-free opportunity..ㅠㅠ
