I can't really think of any downsides. I've been using this product for so long that I'm completely satisfied with it.

The color payoff is absolutely gorgeous! Even as it fades, it leaves a beautiful stain. This is definitely my holy grail product!

Exfoliating the lips well and applying it properly should help it look nicer.

Since this is a matte lipstick, the longevity isn't great.
After eating, it disappears completely, leaving only the outline of my lips intact while the center is gone. Oh, and there's some noticeable flaking of dry skin.

The color is beautiful. The vibrant orange tone comes through very honestly and looks refreshing, which I like. It's great that there's no hint of pink!
The swatches I saw also didn't differ much from the actual color payoff.

The color was much redder than I expected. On the website, it looked more of a brick orange tone, but when I applied it, it was much brighter red on my lips. The lasting power was also not great.

I really like the matte texture. Matte lipsticks often have an exaggerated dry, chalky feeling, but this one didn't have that issue.

First, the color!!! I'm a warm-toned person, and when I first apply it on my lips, it's a pretty orange coral, but if I keep layering it,,,, it starts to look pink😭
And it's drying.

The pigmentation also tends to deposit a pink color rather than the true base color.

It fills in the fine lines and crevices without emphasizing any flakiness.

Since it has better pigmentation than typical lipsticks, I think it will be a go-to product!

The scent is a chocolatey (?) aroma that is commonly found in Clio lip products, and it's a universally pleasing fragrance. 👏👏
