  Pros

  As someone who loves sparkle, I was on the hunt for a glittery palette, and this one is truly a glitter party! I'm absolutely thrilled with it, especially since even the exterior of the palette is gorgeous.

  Cons

  Those with monolids might find that this makes their eyes appear puffy. The predominantly pink color scheme could potentially accentuate this effect.

  Pros

  The palette comes with a nice quality brush, making application easy. As part of Clio's Prism Air line, the color payoff is excellent, and the pearl particles are fine, giving a subtle shimmer rather than an overwhelming sparkle. It's not just all pearl shadows either - there are also matte shades included that work well as base colors, so the overall composition is quite good.

  Cons

  There aren't really any negatives like poor staying power or excess fallout. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the colors are perhaps a bit too safe? The combination of shades is quite familiar, so if you already have similar pearl eyeshadows, you might not need to buy this. Also, the pearls are mostly pink-toned.

  Tip

  Try applying just a touch of the shadow from the first pan to the inner corner of your eye! Even a light application opens up your eyes beautifully. I thought using only pearl shadows might be too much, but surprisingly, the more you layer, the prettier it gets.

  Pros

  First off, the design is absolutely stunning! I fell in love at first sight and just had to try it on before buying. The palette includes one matte shadow and seven shimmery shades, making a total of eight. (I apologize for not being able to describe the different types of shimmer in detail, as I'm not an expert on the various finishes.) As the name 'Coral Sparkle' suggests, the overall theme is coral! When applied, it creates a glamorous yet beautifully enhancing effect on the eyes. The staying power is impressive - unlike many other glittery shadows that tend to fall onto the cheeks, this one stays put. (Just be careful when touching your face after application, as the strong adherence can make touch-ups challenging!) I usually don't expect much from the brushes included in palettes, but I was pleasantly surprised this time. When I misplaced my regular shadow brush, I reluctantly tried the included one and wow! It applies the shadow incredibly well - so soft and pigmented. I'm now happily using both the shadows and the brush regularly!

  Cons

  I was excited to see all the different colors and shimmery effects, but I ended up a bit disappointed. While the palette includes green, pink, and white shimmers, if you look at the layout as: 1234 5678, shades 2, 3, 5, and 6 all have very similar shimmer effects. The base colors don't show up as distinctly as I had hoped. If you're planning to complete your entire eye look with just this palette, you might find it slightly lacking.

  Tip

  For the most dazzling effect on your eyelids, apply the shimmers with your fingers. When using it on your lower lash line, a slightly firmer brush should help the shimmer adhere beautifully as well.
