Applying hair emulsions or oils with a sticky consistency all over feels too heavy, so I thought a water-based hair essence (or mist) in spray form might be better and decided to give it a try. Although it's called a serum oil, it doesn't have an oil-like viscosity - the texture is more like a water-based essence. After blow-drying, I spray it all over my frizzy hair and finish with a bit of hair oil just on the ends. I love how it makes my hair feel light yet slightly more manageable. I bought it from an overseas site for under $10, which isn't bad. The scent is subtle and pleasant, and there's no stickiness... Overall, it's a solid product that I'm satisfied with. To be honest, I find that water-based hair essences from any brand don't really improve hair texture much. They just make your hair feel a bit softer and tamer for a moment... and this product is no exception. The slim, elongated bottle is nice to hold, but the amount feels a bit small. You need to pump at least 4-5 times to cover all your hair, so it seems like it'll run out quickly. Being an overseas product, the shipping cost and delivery time are downsides too. Also, as another reviewer mentioned, the spray comes out in a narrow, straight stream rather than a wide, fine mist, which is disappointing. It might be good to stock up on a few when they're on sale. The scent isn't overpowering or too noticeable, which made it comfortable to apply generously. After using it consistently for a month on damp hair post-shower, I noticed a significant improvement in my hair texture. (It's worth noting that I haven't dyed or bleached my hair, so it wasn't severely damaged to begin with.) My hair used to tangle easily, making it difficult to brush, but now it's much more manageable and easy to care for. I highly recommend this product! I didn't really experience any downsides while using this product. However, since my hair wasn't extremely damaged to begin with, I think this might be best suited for those with relatively normal hair as a daily care product.
