I absolutely love this! I discovered it through Wadiz and tried all 3 types, but this one is definitely the best! Advantage 1: Hydration/Firmness It's just like in the ads - when you pat it on your palms, your skin becomes incredibly firm and bouncy. It's amazing! The hydration is truly top-notch! My roommate and I are both using it, and she agrees it's great for firmness. It seems perfect for use in all seasons except summer! Advantage 2: Skin Barrier After applying, it feels like a protective layer forms on your skin! I think this means it lasts longer! As a result, makeup applied on top adheres well to the skin. Drawback: Residue on hands Probably due to its intense hydration, it leaves a sticky feeling on your hands after absorption. First off, I have combination dehydrated skin, so if I apply something too rich, I immediately get blemishes. But I love that the Selected Day Serum has a pump, so there's no risk of spilling. It's lightweight but absorbs well, so the application feels clean and smooth. The product's scent is also pleasantly subtle. The best part was how well my makeup applied after using this as a base (my mom felt the same way!). There weren't any major downsides, but if I had to pick something, it's hard to see how much product is left inside. I had to use my phone's flashlight to check. Sometimes the pump doesn't work on the first try. When that happens, just turn the pump head in the opposite direction and it should work. And here's a real pro tip: it's fantastic for touch-ups! I highly recommend it for that.
