My hair is thin and prone to hair loss, so I purchased this mist to supplement the serum, as the serum alone was not enough. The fragrance is like baby powder, with a powdery scent. Those sensitive to fragrances may find it strong at first, but it becomes a subtle, pleasant aroma later on. When you gently shake the oil layer, it mixes together and can nourish the hair. You'll need to adjust the amount you spray, as the spray function is not bad. While it immediately softens and calms the hair, the effects don't last very long, which is a shame. I apply the serum to damp hair and then finish with the mist on dry hair. I can recommend this as an average, run-of-the-mill cosmetic product.
