I've discovered that creating a lather in my hands before application, rather than applying the product directly to my face, results in a much gentler cleansing experience for my sensitive skin.

Given my compromised skin barrier, using this cleanser twice a day can be too harsh and potentially strip my skin of its natural oils and moisture balance.

This is the first cleanser I've been using consistently, and it's been working well for me. As someone with super sensitive skin, I was concerned it might further damage my skin barrier, but it hasn't caused any issues. I incorporate it into my evening skincare routine, using it once daily. I create a lather with wet hands before applying it to my face for gentle cleansing.

1. Doesn't lather well. It does foam up with a bit of water, but you need to be very precise with the amount. If you don't get it right, you end up with runny foam that just drips down. 2. Due to the above reason, the lack of foam makes it difficult to cleanse the skin gently. The insufficient lather sometimes led to skin irritation as it couldn't provide a soft cleansing experience.

Ever since I switched to this cleansing foam, I started getting blemishes on my face. It doesn't seem to suit my skin. Perhaps due to its mild acidity, it doesn't lather well and doesn't cleanse thoroughly, leaving a slippery feeling. If you don't do well with mildly acidic products, it's probably best to avoid them altogether.

Being mildly acidic, it doesn't cause any deep dryness and feels hydrating! The scent is also pleasantly neutral.

If I had to nitpick one minor drawback, it would be that when you open the cap, some of the cleanser sticks to it due to its consistency. However, this doesn't affect its cleansing effectiveness, so I don't really consider it a significant issue.

Using less water when lathering works much better.

Is this normal? It's my first time using a low pH cleanser, but no matter how much I rinse, foam keeps appearing on my skin pad.

Since it's my first time using it today, I'm not sure about the benefits yet, but it was incredibly gentle on my skin.

Some people might find the finish a bit slippery. But that's pretty common with most low pH foam cleansers, I guess!

I've been using this since it was under the old Nearskin name. Love the moisturizing finish and how it balances my skin.
