Orchid Rumor, famous for its lavender blush. I missed the signature scent of TheSaem blushes, and since Orchid Rumor was popular, I decided to give it a try. It's a light purple-pink that applies as a beautiful, soft pink on the face, which I'm quite satisfied with and currently using. If you're looking for a soft pink blush without coral undertones that doesn't turn red, surprisingly, you might find it in lavender blushes. 🌸 Color: It's a pink-leaning lavender that becomes more pink over time. The color shows up as a soft, cool pink with a slight white undertone and no warmth. It doesn't turn red and gives a pretty pink flush. I can see why it's so popular. 🌸 Texture: It has subtle micro-pearls and a shimmery glow with fine particles. The texture is quite fine, which can make the blush feel a bit powdery. The case is on the flimsy side. The one I bought barely closes. When applied to the face, it doesn't look cakey. TheSaem single blushers have a baby powder scent, which I personally like. The scent is quite strong, so it might be hit or miss for some. 🌸 Recommendations by preference: If you're looking for a non-reddening, cool-toned soft pink blush - 👍 If you're seeking a light purple blush for skin tone correction that doesn't show up too vividly - 👎
The powder scent is quite strong, which might be polarizing. While the price is affordable and the quality is good, the packaging is somewhat flimsy. The blush surface crumbles and clumps with just one brush stroke.
The photos accurately represent the actual color. While it looks cakey and not very adherent in the photos, it doesn't feel that way when applied to the face, so it doesn't bother me. It's more of a pink-lavender than light purple, and when applied to the face, it gives a soft pink flush without turning red.
