    Pros
Avène Cicalfate has been a staple at Olive Young for ages - I was worried it might be discontinued! Anyway, I recently revisited this classic, which is considered the pioneer of repair creams. It's still amazing! I've tried quite a few repair creams, but there's a reason I keep coming back to Avène Cicalfate. They've improved the packaging too - it used to look like a medical ointment that would tear easily, but now it's much better!
    Cons
The texture is quite thick and ointment-like. It's heavy and rich, so it takes a while to absorb. While the absorption and spreadability have improved significantly from before, it's still not great compared to other creams. If you have oily skin, you must be careful with the amount you use! It's quite rich, so I wouldn't recommend it for summer. Even in fall and winter, you need to control the amount during the day. It's best to apply a generous layer at night before bed.
