Not bad as a sunscreen alternative. I asked if women could use it since it's for men, and they said the primer function is gender-neutral. It's convenient not having to apply sunscreen separately when doing makeup.
ConsDisappointing that it doesn't brighten the complexion. If it evened skin tone, there'd be no need to apply a separate base.

Cons- Absolutely no brightening effect, so not recommended for those looking to even skin tone - This is more of a hydrating primer sunscreen rather than one that fills in pores, so not suitable for those expecting a traditional pore-minimizing primer - Being an organic sunscreen, it may potentially cause more skin irritation compared to mineral sunscreens

Looking for a makeup base with good ingredients that makes your skin look great! >> Go for it~ I don't like shine >> Recommend Dr.G Green Mild Up Sun I don't usually wear foundation, but my skin is dry and I need a moisturizing sunscreen! >> It might be a good choice! Reviewer info: Mid-20s, combination sensitive skin Prefers hydrating skincare Semi-matte makeup style Application: 5/5 Applies very smoothly. For those who struggle to apply sunscreen evenly, this is much easier to use than thick or matte products. Primer function: 3/5 3 points isn't a bad score (personally, it's perfect). Smooths skin texture better than bare skin and can somewhat cover small pores. Will have even more synergy with light foundation. However, don't expect it to function like a pore-filling primer. As seen in the application, it's a very smooth-applying sun primer, so think of it more as overall *texture improvement* rather than pore coverage or oil control. It's good to consider it as a sunscreen with added makeup base functionality. * This product is an organic UV filter, so it has no white cast. It's also a glowy, moisturizing type of sun primer. Therefore, it's not recommended for those who dislike shine, or they should use matte makeup on top. Price: 4/5 Not exactly a bargain, but it's relatively inexpensive compared to other sunscreens and performs quite well, hence 4 points. Ingredients: 5/5 Zero harmful ingredients, which is what I value most! Perfect score! I'm particularly pleased that it doesn't contain ethylhexyl cinnamate, an organic UV filter that can be irritating to the skin!
ConsLacks tone-up function (natural for organic filters! This can be an advantage / If using this product, it's best to achieve tone-up with foundation) Not recommended if you're expecting pore-filling primer functionality! It's a makeup base and sunscreen that realistically(!) improves skin texture for those with large pores and rough skin! Being a moisturizing type of sunscreen, it might be challenging for those with very oily skin. (It's more hydrating than fresh-feeling)
TipSince it's a moisturizing sunscreen, I highly recommend using at least a semi-matte to matte cushion or foundation, and definitely use oil blotting papers or powder on areas prone to oiliness.

I used it from March 26, 2020, to April 2, 2020. ★Application Unlike typical sunscreens that feel heavy, thick, and pasty when applied, this product feels smooth and moisturizing, almost like an emulsion. It's changed my 22-year-long perception of sunscreens significantly. ★Ingredients Unlike other sunscreens, I felt that a lot of care was put into the ingredients. It seems to contain only gentle components. I used it for a week and didn't experience any blemishes. ★Scent The scent is close to unscented, so even those sensitive to fragrances can use it comfortably. ★White Cast I appreciated that there was no white cast. ★Absorption I was very pleased with how quickly it absorbs into the skin.
ConsI was a bit disappointed that this product doesn't provide a brightening effect, so it's not noticeable when applied. Also, given that the focus seems to be on the formula and ingredients, I'm not sure how effective the UV protection is.
TipI'd recommend this sunscreen to those with dry skin, those who dislike white cast, and those who consider themselves sensitive to scents!

Now, let's start the review. Since Beready is a men's beauty brand, this sunscreen product will be quite appealing to those who have tried one or two sunscreens before. However, from a broader perspective, there are some aspects that could be improved. I first looked at how well it fulfilled its primer function, that is, how well it works as a base before foundation. Since it's labeled as a primer, I tried applying it in various ways, and it does fill in to some extent. However, it might be time to reconsider calling it a primer. That being said, it's not completely without primer functions. Perhaps my expectations were too high? The application is truly lightweight and smooth. Highlights: Absorbs well, Finish, Hydration
ConsIf you use more than the recommended amount, you'll need to invest some time in absorption. When first squeezing it out, whether on the back of your hand, palm, or anywhere else, squeeze gently as it comes out quickly... The formula is extremely runny, and I end up throwing away what I can't use.. And.. interestingly, there was a slight cooling effect. Right after application, there's zero stickiness and it feels fresh. As mentioned above, it doesn't have a brightening moisturizer function. I prefer products that even skin tone, so I might reach for this less often, but it seems like it would be a good sunscreen for those with oily or combination dehydrated skin. Drawbacks: Need for careful amount control, Product container (risk of leakage if not careful when opening the lid)

Remember, this review is entirely subjective - if a product is good, I'll say so, and if it's not great, I'll be upfront about that too. The photos I've included are completely unfiltered originals. I'm not usually one for sunscreens. They can be a hassle, and I really dislike it when they leave that ghostly white cast on my face. But this sunscreen? It's different. It's lightweight and incredibly hydrating. You won't find yourself in that awkward situation where your face looks like it's floating because of a white cast. Another plus? It's fragrance-free. I mean, you could practically call it unscented - there's absolutely no detectable smell. Some sunscreens can have such strong fragrances that they give you a headache, but not this one. If you're wondering what it's similar to, it reminds me a lot of that popular Japanese sunscreen from Bio*. My family loved that product, but we were hesitant to buy it because it's Japanese. This seems like it could be a perfect alternative. When you apply it, you can feel how moisturizing and refreshing it is. It even gives your skin a bit of a glow.
ConsThe downside? It's a bit on the pricey side. Even though it fits perfectly in my hand (and I have smaller than average hands), it's still 50mL for about $20. That's why I knocked off one star for the price. If you're looking for a sunscreen that provides a tone-up effect, this might not be the product for you. It feels more like a hydrating moisturizer, so don't expect any brightening or evening of your complexion.
TipThe instructions suggest using this before foundation or cushion products to help your makeup stay put all day long. I can't speak to that since I don't wear makeup, but it might be worth trying if you do!

It feels like a super lightweight emulsion that sinks right in! Scent: ★★★★★ It's practically unscented. You'd have to really stick your nose in it to detect a slight rubber or silicone scent. Design: ★★★★★ The design is so simple and pretty! White background with blue text... I love it! Price: ★★★★ At 20,000 won for 50ml, it's not super cheap, especially considering it has primer functions. But it's a fair price for a cosmetic product. Effectiveness: ★★★ The effects were just okay. It doesn't cover pores or uneven texture at all. It slightly smooths the skin texture and might improve makeup adherence a tiny bit, but I didn't notice any major differences. White cast: ★★★★★ Absolutely zero white cast! I mean, not even 0.0000000000001% of white cast!
ConsThis product alone isn't enough if you want a noticeable difference. I usually just wear sunscreen, and I'm disappointed that this doesn't provide any brightening effect. It also doesn't cover pores or uneven texture at all. The primer function is almost non-existent - it just makes your skin a bit more hydrated and smooth.

First off, I have sensitive combination skin prone to blemishes. My skin is also super oily, so I still use a soothing gel before makeup these days! Otherwise, the oiliness goes crazy. Texture: It has a watery texture that absorbs really well! White cast: There's no white cast! I usually only use sunscreens with white cast, so at first I was like, 'What's this?' But the moment I applied foundation, it blended so naturally with my skin tone - I loved it! Sensitivity & irritation: I have truly acne-prone, sensitive combination skin, but this product hasn't caused any blemishes! Usually, if something doesn't suit my skin, I break out immediately, but this seems to work well for me! Scent: Even those sensitive to fragrances can use this without any issues - it has a very mild scent! Adherence: The way it adheres with foundation is no joke! It provides just the right amount of hydration! Overall: For someone who always used mineral sunscreen as a base before foundation... this product is truly a game-changer! Especially for men who want their makeup to look natural, you've got to try this product! It blends seamlessly with your natural complexion!
ConsThe downside is that it's a bit... lacking if you want to wear it alone when going out. While it's an absolute must-have for use before makeup, it feels somewhat insufficient when worn on its own. Specifically, it seems to lack any skin tone evening effect!
TipIf you want to achieve a natural makeup look, you absolutely must try this!
