I really like the Real Barrier line because their products have great ingredients and are gentle on the skin. Even though it's mildly acidic, this cleanser effectively removes impurities while being gentle. After cleansing, my skin feels moisturized and firm, with a good balance of oil and moisture. There's no tightness, and it seems to help with sebum control too. The subtle, pleasant fragrance even improves my mood while washing. As someone with combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive, I find this product's gentle formulation leaves my skin without any tightness or blemishes after use.
When pumped, it comes out as a clear, gel-like consistency. It doesn't produce a lot of foam, and there's a slightly slippery feeling after rinsing, which makes me want to keep wiping and rinsing more. This extra rinsing might cause a bit of irritation, which is somewhat disappointing.
I find it especially good for morning cleansing. As someone with oily skin, regular foam cleansers can be too harsh for removing excess oil in the summer mornings. When removing makeup, I use an oil cleanser first, followed by this Real Barrier T Cleansing Foam for a more thorough cleanse.
