It's a mysterious yet natural-looking lipstick that makes your natural lip color stand out. The color is so beautiful. It can be worn lightly for everyday use, or more boldly, and it works either way. It has a very feminine, sophisticated color.
ConsIt's matte. You have to rub it on and on, but it's not drying. You'll need lip care when applying the base, but it doesn't emphasize flaky skin.
TipIf you buy it during a sale, you can stock up on it at a discounted price. Also, it looks great if you apply it over a base layer, and then just dab it on the center of your lips.

I haven't repurchased it yet, but I'll definitely do it when I run out. It looks mature and luxurious. It applies smoothly and doesn't emphasize the lip line, but rather makes my lips look stained and velvety. I've been using it as a blush by lightly dabbing it on with my fingers. Even though I tend to get lip flakes year-round, I can still use this comfortably enough to overlook that.
ConsWhat about when my lips get flaky? Ugh... After eating, when only the outer edges of my lips are left, do I have to reapply it?
TipI first swipe it all over my bottom lip, then press my lips together and move them side to side. Then I sweep it from the inner part of my bottom lip outwards. For the top lip, I dab on the areas that need a little more coverage, and again sweep from the inner part outwards. This really makes my lips look 'stained' with that dried rose color.

They are very matte and sophisticated.
ConsIt's quite matte and if you eat something, the inner part of the lips can easily be removed.

The Nars Dolce Vita is a bit too subtle and has a slightly bitter chocolate-like tone, but this one is a great match. ㅎ It's a bit darker and more yellow-toned, but it doesn't look patchy. It's truly natural and beautiful.
ConsIt's matte, so it can look cakey if you just apply it. You need to apply a lip balm first and then the lipstick.
TipApply the lip balm first, then the lipstick. After that, blot with a tissue for a beautiful, matte lip look. ㅎㅎ

And I don't really like glossy lipsticks with a lot of oil, but this one is slightly matte, which I liked~. This is the first time I've tried the Marsala color, and I was worried about it, but after comparing it, I found the toned-down shade to be quite pretty ❤ In my opinion, Tonymoly was the prettiest. If you like natural and subtle colors that don't stand out too much, this would be right up your alley! Or if you feel like transitioning to a more mellow, autumnal vibe, this would be a great pick.
ConsSince it's a matte type, there may be some emphasis on dry patches and wrinkles! If you want to apply it smoothly without clumping, a lip balm is a must 👍 However, it doesn't have a lot of oily shine, so the longevity seems a bit better. I'm a bit disappointed with the lipstick packaging ㅠㅠ It's very prone to scratches... And I wish the design was a bit more premium-looking! When you twist it to use, the area around the lipstick tip gets dirty ㅠㅠ Be careful not to get it on the cap~ As it's a matte type, it doesn't glide on as smoothly and feels a bit stiff when applying additional layers.
TipComparing it to The Saem's Bittersweet Chocolate and Missha's Rose Milk Tea, the Tonymoly and Missha ones have very similar swatches~. There's not much difference when applied on the lips either. Missha is a crayon-type, so it applies smoothly without being matte. If you prefer a glossy and creamy application, you should try the Missha one. The Saem is a bit more of a brick red/brown. Lastly, when choosing the Marsala color, I recommend applying it half-and-half on the inner part of your lips and seeing if the shade matches your natural lip color well and doesn't look out of place.

The rose-maroon color, as the name 'Rosemary Salad' suggests, captures the hue of dried rose petals and gives a healthy, luxurious look to the face! Although it's a matte formula, it's not overly matte but has a nice, dewy finish. The scent is also quite pleasant. When I wear this, people often ask me what lipstick I'm wearing.
ConsIf you have a fair complexion, this shade might make your face look even more radiant. If you're looking for a slightly pinker tone, the Tony Moly Kiss Lover Style M Senior Rose color might be a better fit.
TipWhile it applies smoothly, the matte formula can accentuate any flakiness on the lips. So I like to apply a lip balm first and then dab the lipstick on top.
