First off, I have dry and sensitive skin! About 3 years ago, I suffered from seborrheic dermatitis, which made my skin super sensitive, so I can't just apply anything. That's why I'm really picky about ingredients. Scent: It's almost fragrance-free, which I like because it doesn't cause any aversion. Ingredients: Recently, due to lowered immunity and mask-wearing, my seborrheic dermatitis flared up again. So I switched all my skincare products to gentler ones with simpler formulations. This product seems to have good ingredients without any concerning ones. Soothing: I'm not sure if it's this product or my body getting better, but my seborrheic dermatitis is gradually improving. Texture: It has a very typical emulsion feel. I usually skip emulsions and focus on toners and creams, but this product doesn't feel heavy when layered in between. It would be great for summer use. Packaging: Both the package design and the container are clean and nice. The pump dispenser makes it more hygienic and convenient to use.
For my dry skin, using just a toner and this product isn't enough. It might be better suited for daily use by those with oily or combination skin. It feels more rich than hydrating, and the absorption is a bit slow. However, the pros outweigh the cons, so I'm considering repurchasing. For those with dry skin, it might be suitable for summer or morning use.
My seborrheic dermatitis is flaring up again, and this product seems to be helping soothe it. Of course, I've changed all my skincare products, but they all seem to work synergistically. I've switched to products focused on soothing, barrier protection, and hydration. My routine is: 1. Apply a homemade mist with Centella, Mugwort, Hyaluronic Acid, and Jojoba Oil about twice 2. Chamomile emulsion 3. Finish with a moisturizer and hyaluronic acid Stay strong, everyone dealing with skin inflammation!
