As a member of The Hwahae Testers, I'm sharing my review and confirming I'd repurchase this product! Recently, my extremely dry and sensitive skin has been struggling due to mask-wearing. While switching all my skincare products, I discovered the Scinic cleansing bar! Although the instructions don't mention makeup removal, I tried it for my morning cleanse after only applying sunscreen. I used to use natural soap for my morning routine, but recently tried a Fon* morning cleanser that wreaked havoc on my skin (though I'm not sure if it was solely due to that product). However, the Scinic cleansing bar is amazing! It's gentle with no irritation, leaves no tightness after cleansing (which I'm thrilled about!), and I found the scent to be pleasantly mild. My skin tends to get more flushed and extremely tight if a cleanser doesn't suit me, but with this one, there's no tightness, and my redness seems even more soothed! I definitely plan to repurchase!
The bar comes with what seems to be an organic cloth, but it's a real struggle to fit the soap into it - I'm not sure if it's just mine or if they're all like this. It was quite a challenge to squeeze it in! Once I managed to get it in there, it barely lathered at all... However, I like the soap so much that I can forgive this flaw! I hope they switch to a foam net in future versions.
I bought a foam net from Daiso and used it with this soap - it creates such rich, abundant lather! I highly recommend purchasing a separate foam net. On another note, I've recently started using Scinic First Essence as the first step in my skincare routine, and I'm really satisfied with it! I'd recommend both these products to those with dry skin.
