This is an incredibly lightweight emulsion that's perfect for when your skin is producing excess sebum or feeling overly oily. It's great for acne-prone skin as it doesn't clog pores, according to The Hwahae Testers. Plus, it's a hydrating emulsion that also helps with brightening, so you're getting multiple benefits in one product.

When you have active breakouts or experience atopic or allergic reactions, it can feel a bit tingling when applied. The pump? Once it falls off, it doesn't reattach properly. You can make do by just placing it on top. Also, when pumping, sometimes the emulsion sprays out too forcefully, and I've wasted product a few times because of this. The tea tree scent is quite strong, so those sensitive to fragrances should keep that in mind. Personally, I enjoy the invigorating tea tree aroma and continue to use it happily.

I've been using this product for about a year, and it's truly a perfect match for my skin. It feels cool and refreshing. It's particularly suitable for oily skin prone to blemishes.

The scent is quite unique to me, and even after using it for over a week, I still haven't gotten used to it. That remains the main drawback for me.

• Leaves a fresh finish. Despite the initial slippery texture that made me worry it might leave a greasy sheen, once fully absorbed it feels so light you'll forget you applied anything.

• Provides a thin layer of deep hydration. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I love products that lock in moisture. This is perfect for summer use. While it doesn't provide much surface hydration, it prevents that dry, tight feeling and offers a bit of moisturization deep down.

• Has a cool, refreshing scent. There's an invigorating minty centella fragrance that lingers pleasantly as it absorbs.

It works great if you apply a moisturizer on top of the emulsion!

It also has a slight cooling effect, which should be great for summer use.

I think you'll see even better results if you use this after a BHA toner. It's great for skincare before makeup too, as it balances oil and moisture well. This emulsion is perfect not just for acne-prone skin, but also for oily skin with deep dryness, or anyone who prefers a light moisturizer. It's definitely worth trying!

The only slight downside is the shelf life. They say it's good for 4 months after opening, which feels a bit short.
