I think the application and color payoff are quite good! While it may vary from person to person, for me it glided on smoothly without much patchiness. The color turned out just as I expected! I'm not a fan of glossy finishes, and this one has a lovely semi-matte finish.
ConsThe only downside is the longevity, which is somewhat unavoidable. After eating a meal, about 20-30% of the color fades. Still, I don't think that's too bad!
TipI recently discovered I have a summer cool complexion, and I still own some warm-toned lipsticks. I found that applying this cool-toned lipstick first, then dabbing a warmer shade in the center of my lips works really well!

Cons* After opening it, you'll understand why it seems prone to breaking * Being matte, it doesn't glide on smoothly * If you apply it gently with light taps, you might avoid breaking it and use it longer!
TipThis is meant for tapping application. Make sure to use a lip balm to remove dead skin cells before using it.

The term 'chiffon matte' perfectly describes this lipstick. I think it's the first time I've experienced a lipstick that feels this way when applied. Because it applies so lightly, even if you layer it, it doesn't become too intense. Instead, it builds up to just the right, beautiful color.
ConsFirst off, this product fails to meet even the most basic expectations of a lipstick. I bought it happily from Olive Young, but as soon as I tried to apply it, it broke immediately. I was so shocked, thinking 'What? I didn't even apply pressure.' I calmly tried to melt it back together with a lighter, but it broke again instantly. No matter how many times I tried to fix it, it kept breaking. Wondering if it was just me, I looked up other reviews and found quite a few people who had the same experience of it breaking right after purchase. Even if the texture and color of a product are great, if it breaks so easily, you can't carry it around and apply it freely. There will definitely be times when you're in a hurry and can't think about controlling your pressure... What's the point of the official website having a small note saying 'It may break easily, please use only a small amount' when they haven't solved this fundamental issue of a lipstick? And how many consumers will actually see that disclaimer? The packaging looks like it could be from Etude House if you didn't know it was Espoir. Overall, it seems like a product worth less than half its 20,000 won retail price. I bought this after testing it in-store and liking it as a road shop lip product, but I don't think I'll ever buy from Espoir again.
