It boasts the exceptional adherence reminiscent of Stila, with absolutely no pearl fallout. The product quality is certainly on par with Stila. It's even more suitable for daily wear than Stila, lacking the pepper-like pearl effect, and I find it more satisfying overall. Color: The cool pink pearls dominate, creating exactly the bright pink pearl effect I wanted to illuminate the aegyo-sal (under-eye area). While there are subtle yellow pearls, when applied to the eyes, the pink tone is predominant. I now understand why this color received so many compliments. It brightens the under-eye area with unicorn-like pearls, creating a mystical effect. It's as beautiful as if tears were glistening. Compared to Stila's Diamond Dust, the particles are smaller and finer, but it has a similar mirror ball-like sparkle. Texture: The adherence is excellent. It applies thinly with good spreadability, drying quickly and adhering firmly. Even if you rub it, only a few pearls fall off. It's very similar to Stila in this aspect. However, the applicator tip is a bit thick for under-eye application, and if you try to layer it after it's dried, it can become patchy and messy. You can't layer it after it's dried. There's no pearl fallout, making it great for use as a pearl shadow when dabbed on the eyelids. Comparison with Stila: - Particle size: Peripera < Stila - Glamour (sparkle): Peripera < Stila - Pearl variety: Peripera < Stila - Adherence: Peripera = Stila - Longevity: Peripera = Stila - Pearl fallout: Peripera = Stila - Spreadability: Peripera > Stila - Ease of correction: Peripera < Stila - Cleansing effectiveness: Peripera = Stila Recommendation based on preference: Peripera Pink Vanilla: Fine particles, perfect for daily use. Not too subtle, not too glittery. Definite pink pearls. Whitish pink pearl shadow that plumps up the aegyo-sal without looking floaty, balanced by subtle yellow pearls. Excellent adherence and thin spreadability. Stila Diamond Dust: Large particles, mainly silver opal pearls. Good for creating a point with idol-like sparkle. Preferred by those who like larger glitter particles. Excellent adherence with even application in small amounts.
ConsApplying too much can lead to clumping. Once it dries and adheres, it's impossible to layer more. Attempting to layer will result in clumping and patchiness, making it look messy. Due to its excellent adherence, corrections are difficult. You need to be careful with the amount from the start. When trying to correct, wiping it off can irritate the eye area and leave patchy spots. If you prefer larger particles, you might find this too subtle. However, among pearl shadows, it has relatively large particles and more sparkle than average pearls.
TipComparison between Stila Diamond Dust (silver pearl) and Peripera Pink Vanilla (pink pearl). Please refer to the third photo for color comparison (similar to actual colors), the fourth for particle size comparison, and the fifth for the appearance after drying and rubbing vigorously. You can see that Stila has weaker adherence when applied in large amounts. *The last photo shows colors and pearls similar to the actual product*
