This balm is perfect for creating an Inner Glow effect easily without drying out your skin in cold weather! It's not a powder type and doesn't sparkle excessively like a highlighter, making it great for adding subtle dimension over your base with the Hince Radiance Balm. When I first tested it on my palm, I noticed a subtle shimmer with a slightly tacky feel, making me wonder if it had a moisturizing effect unlike other products. It didn't feel dry at all and absorbed smoothly. For best results, instead of applying it directly over your base, warm the balm with your fingers and gently pat it onto areas where you want to add glow. As someone who dislikes getting anything on their hands, whether it's sunscreen or other products, it's inconvenient that you can't just apply it directly and have to use your hands to prevent the base from pilling.
