The Guess Los Angeles Women fragrance reminds me of the opening notes of Jo Malone's English Pear & Freesia. It has a similar vibe to English Pear & Freesia, but with less sweetness. However, as someone who finds peony challenging, I couldn't help but notice it as the dominant scent. There's a slightly synthetic aroma, but it's not harsh like acetone. It's more like a typical pink feminine perfume with a subtle masculine skincare undertone. The scent leans more towards mature rather than youthful. Los Angeles has top and middle notes that dissipate quickly. Even considering it's an eau de toilette, after about an hour and a half, only traces of the top and middle notes remain, leaving behind a faint scent and the base musk. I enjoyed the slightly sweet and musky lingering notes of Los Angeles. Since I find peony difficult, the quick transition to the base notes was actually a plus for me. However, enduring the middle notes to reach the lingering scent might be a bit much... - sk******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 1, 2022
I received this as a sample and it has such an elegant scent. Is it musk? I'm not a fan of elegant scents. I prefer sweet fragrances...
