I've heard a lot of good things about Physiogel from people around me, and it's been highly recommended for people with sensitive skin. I have an oily T-zone in the summer and extremely dry skin in the winter. This past winter, my skin was so dry that my makeup would flake, and I had severe flakiness and tightness. While skincare products for sensitive skin are gentle, I often don't feel much of an effect, but using this product has greatly improved my dry skin! It doesn't make my skin look overly shiny, and although it's a cream, it has a lotion-like texture that applies smoothly. I felt it protected my skin from the chilly, dry winter weather and heater. The degree of tightness in my skin in the afternoon was noticeably different on days when I used this lotion versus days when I used a serum or essence under my makeup. Applying a small amount before makeup prevents it from flaking and helps it apply well. Personally, I try to avoid jar or dropper packaging, so I was happy the packaging for this product is a tube.
Cons
In the evenings, I tend to apply it more generously, but on days when I felt I applied it too thickly, it didn't absorb well and left a greasy feeling. On the other hand, when I applied just the right amount, I would sometimes wake up with a slightly dry feeling, especially when sleeping in a dry environment like an electric blanket.
