There was no white cast. Our family's skin had no breakouts, and it wasn't greasy. However, depending on the skincare routine, it could sometimes feel a bit drying inside.
Consโ Personally, the fragrance was too strong, giving me a headache and constantly bothering me. โ Even though they said there would be no eye irritation, my eyes were stinging so much that tears were streaming down. My younger sister felt it less than I did, but she still experienced eye irritation. Our mom said she was fine. Personally, I think when I use products with a strong sunscreen-like fragrance, my eyes tend to get more irritated.

Normally, two pumps would feel heavy and sticky, but there's none of that. The absorption is also good. I received it as a gift and am using it well.
ConsThe smell is really strong, like perfume. Maybe because I applied a lot, but the smell makes it difficult to use.

I have a complex skin type. As I have been very concerned about sun protection, I have used a variety of sunscreens. The Atte Vegan Relief Sun Essence, as the name suggests, is an essence-type product, so it has good moisture and excellent spreadability. While I'm not sure if the texture is accurately represented in the attached photo, it is not significantly different from the typical sun essence products, so those who have been satisfied with existing sun essence products will likely be pleased with this one as well. There is some white cast, but in my personal and subjective opinion, it is not a significant concern. The level of white cast is similar to when I use other sunscreens, and it does not make my skin look unnatural without makeup. Even if you wear makeup, the foundation will be applied on top, so you don't need to worry about it.
ConsWhile I am grateful to have been selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer and to have received the product for free, I feel compelled to share the three critical drawbacks that unfortunately negate all the positive aspects I mentioned earlier. Firstly, the fragrance is quite artificial. Although fragrance preference is subjective, I find the scent of this sun essence to be unpleasantly pungent, to the point where I am reluctant to use it and go out. Secondly, it causes eye irritation. While I typically do not experience eye stinging with other products, this one triggers eye discomfort immediately upon application. In the past, I have experienced eye irritation with some sunscreens, but it would only occur hours later as the product and oils mixed. However, with this sun essence, the eye irritation is present right away. Lastly, the most significant drawback is that it causes breakouts. I noticed a burning sensation midday when I reapplied the product, and upon removing it in the evening, I found that my skin had become inflamed, with small pimples appearing across my entire face. The symptoms are indicative of a contact dermatitis reaction. Given these issues, I am hesitant to use the product again. I will likely have to discard it or find a way to pass it on to someone who may be able to use it without any adverse reactions. While I have been grateful for the opportunity to try various products and brands through the Hwahae Trial Reviewer program, this particular product has been a major disappointment.

Ingredients I felt that this product has a strong sun protection effect, but it's also very gentle. As it's a vegan brand, the ingredients are also good!! With my extremely dry skin, I often get milia when I apply products incorrectly, but after using this, I feel my skin is soothed from the sun, so I'm really satisfied with it!! 2. Texture The texture is smooth and easy to spread evenly. These days, I prefer products that I can apply like a moisturizer, and the Athe sunscreen also has a moisturizing texture, so it feels like I'm doing my skincare routine. After applying this and then a matte foundation, my skin has a healthy glow, making my complexion look even prettier:) 3. Packaging Unlike the tube-type sunscreens I've used before, this one has a pump dispenser when you open the cap, which is more hygienic. There seems to be less air getting into the product compared to other products, so it can be used more hygienically:) The pump format also makes it easy to control the amount I use. 4. No white cast The Athe sunscreen doesn't leave a white cast, so I don't have to worry about my face looking too pale when I apply foundation.
Cons1. Fragrance Compared to the fresh texture, the fragrance is a bit heavy for my liking, so I didn't really enjoy it.ใ ใ
TipWhen I don't want to use a heavy moisturizer, I use this sunscreen as the last step in my skincare routine, as it's a hydrating product that can be applied on various skin types.

Since it's not very oily, I think it would also be good for oily skin. It feels gentle and moisturizing, so I think I can use it in the summer too. After applying this product, I didn't experience any pilling or flaking when I put on foundation - it stayed nicely moisturized. I tried it because it's vegan, and the gentle feel makes it even better!
ConsIf I had to point out a downside, it would be the fragrance and value for money. The fragrance has an artificial floral scent, which could be a bit strong for sensitive people. As someone who's only used fragrance-free sunscreens before, I found the scent to be quite intense.
