First off, the egg-shaped case is absolutely adorable, and I love how it's designed to sit cutely on its bottom. As a brightening moisturizer, it gives an overall radiant feel. Rather than thinking of it as a primer, it's better to consider it as a sunscreen with a slight brightening function or a makeup base. The white formula doesn't provide as dramatic a brightening effect compared to green or pink-tinted formulas, resulting in a more subtle complexion enhancement. Also, its glow-boosting primer function is really, really minimal. The slightly odd scent is a bit disappointing too. Let's not set our expectations too high and just use it as a sunscreen - Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 9, 2023
The way it absorbs is smooth and hydrating, giving a lovely tone-up effect that's dewy like water-glow without any white cast. It doesn't provide coverage, but it makes your skin look radiant and clean. It's perfect for those no-makeup days when you just want to apply one product and go. While the packaging is pretty, it's inconvenient that it doesn't stand up on its own. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 15, 2022
As someone with dry skin, I found the oil content just right. It gives a nice glow when applied (the photo shows the glow after two layers). It's perfect for me since I prefer a moisturizing mineral sunscreen with just sunscreen when heading to work (I loved that it has a brightening effect). I usually don't touch up my makeup after applying it once in the morning, but since this is a primer, I'm hopeful it will help my makeup stay put better. It's a bit on the thick side (I think it's because I apply it in small amounts due to its brightening effect), so those with sensitive skin might experience some irritation when reapplying. While it's a bit disappointing that it contains fragrance, I'm still quite satisfied overall. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 26, 2022
It's moisturizing with a subtle glow. The brightening effect naturally lightens your complexion by about half a shade. I like how natural it looks, and it has decent staying power. While it's fine for regular use, it might be a bit challenging to use in hot summer as it could feel greasy. The ingredients are gentle, but there's a slight initial redness, so individual reactions may vary. For sensitive skin, I'd say it's pretty good. If you're looking for a natural tone adjustment, this is perfect. It won't make you extremely pale or anything. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinMar 21, 2022
I'm truly a yellow-toned skin sufferer! No matter what I apply, be it a white brightening moisturizer or anything else, my skin quickly turns yellowish... Just when I was about to give up, I found this tone-up sun primer. While it's not a dramatic escape from yellow undertones, it's the best product I've used so far for evening out my skin tone and managing my yellow complexion. Despite my dry skin, it felt incredibly hydrating, and there was no white cast! Plus, it doubles as sunscreen, which is great. I'm 100% going to repurchase! The packaging seems a bit inconvenient to use. Other than that, it's pretty good! When mixed with other brightening moisturizers or BB creams, it feels like it evens out the complexion even more effectively. - Hwahae UserDry SkinNov 6, 2021
It absorbs well, leaving the skin hydrated and soft. It doesn't leave a heavy white cast and naturally evens skin tone. This product is perfect for use during cold, dry winters or for those with dry skin. However, as someone with combination skin that tends to get sweaty, I found it a bit too rich and shiny for warmer weather. It's a product that seems to be more suitable for certain weather conditions and skin types. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSep 27, 2021
Absorbs beautifully, spreads evenly, and brightens the complexion by half a shade without leaving a white cast. Despite being a mineral sunscreen, it doesn't dry out the skin. Among the mineral sunscreens I've tried, this one feels the richest on the skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJun 29, 2021
Mineral sunscreen. Subtle brightening effect. Doesn't cause makeup to pill (actually great as a base before makeup). Absorbs well. Excellent design. Would've given it a perfect score if it didn't have fragrance. You get used to it over time, but when I first used it, the scent was off-putting (strong floral?). Plus, fragrance is one of the 20 ingredients to be cautious about. If anyone from Neogen happens to read this, please consider removing this ingredient... - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 23, 2021
As someone with dry skin, I do find it a bit dehydrating, but I like that it's nicely moisturizing and the brightening effect isn't too intense - it gives a natural look. The brightening effect doesn't last long and my skin returns to its original complexion quickly, but that's fine since I bought it mainly for sun protection rather than for evening out my skin tone. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 21, 2020
The color matches well with dull skin, so it's a great starting point for those with a lackluster complexion. The azulene gives it a purple tone, which feels fresh and unique for a sunscreen. It's cute! It's perfect for those lazy days - just one application evens out your skin tone and brightens up your look. Well, it's inconvenient that you can't stand it upright. It's also drier than expected, which can cause pilling. You need a solid skincare base and careful application. I often used it when I was feeling lazy, but ironically, it ended up taking more time. Apply it thinly and gradually, like you would with foundation, to avoid a white cast and ensure smooth application.
