Despite being called 'liquid', it's more of a mousse texture. It does transfer a bit... But apart from that, it's pretty amazing! After all, isn't color and texture everything when it comes to lipsticks?

As someone with a winter cool skin tone, most of my lipsticks are deep reds. Orange-reds don't suit me at all. I received this as a gift by chance, and it's an absolute perfect match! It's a beautiful pink-red shade. Looking at it now, the ingredients seem pretty good too! This is truly my holy grail lipstick. I'm so grateful to the friend who gifted it to me. Once I finish this, I'll definitely be repurchasing!

The concave part fits perfectly when placed on the center of your lower lip.
For the upper lip and lip line, use the opposite side of that concave part, which works perfectly. The pointed shape at the top is great for outlining the lip contour.
Use the very top pointy part to delicately color the thin areas at the corners of your lips.

I finally managed to completely remove that sticker residue. Using oil instead of a cream with oil content did the trick! I applied a drop or two of face oil, gently rubbed it in to soften the residue, then carefully scraped it off with my fingernail. After rubbing it a bit more to finish, I wiped it clean with a tissue. Once I removed the oily feeling from the surface, it was completely gone! For those who don't have face oil or body oil, you could try using cooking oil!

Longevity and Staining
Given it's a matte lip product, I expected it to have that "stuck-on" feeling, but for something called matte, it's surprisingly smooth and soft without that clingy sensation! It doesn't stain much either! The level of staining is a matter of preference, so that's not necessarily a bad thing. However, with the matte + liquid lip combination, I expected it to adhere more to the lips, but it's a softer liquid lip than anticipated. It's not drying, feels smooth, and comfortable, which isn't bad at all. Since my lips are very dry, this might actually be better for me.
However, it's not like a lip lacquer that really sticks to your lips, and there is some transfer. It's not the kind that completely wipes off or smudges, just a moderate amount of transfer. It's not inconvenient, but it's not a no-transfer type, so keep that in mind!
There's some transfer, it wipes off a bit, and it's not a product with super strong staining power or staying power like a tint.
On the bright side, it doesn't smudge or leave patchy stains, which is great.

The concave part of the applicator tip makes it difficult to remove excess product, which is disappointing. When you want to apply a thin, light layer, you usually wipe off some of the tint, but that's not possible here. So when I want to apply it thinly, I just use the back of the applicator to apply. Not just for thin application, but even for regular use, when there seems to be too much product on the tip, I'd like to be able to wipe some off, but that spoon-shaped part makes it impossible, which is a bit inconvenient. Often, when I put it on my lower lip, there's too much product.

I tried my best to rub it off with an emulsion. It's not just me - it seems like everyone has this issue, so the sticker on this product must leave a lot of residue! I tried to peel it off gently, rubbed the sticky part with emulsion, and did everything I could, but it still left that much residue. It's frustrating! Other stickers come off easily, but this one... I'll have to carry it around with this residue forever. Some people just twist it open with the sticker still on and carry it that way. This one seems particularly bad compared to others.

Color
First of all, the color is absolutely gorgeous! I bought this product 100% because of the color. While it's true to its name as a red shade, it's not a pure, intense red. Instead, it's subtly soft and vibrant, without being too heavy or overwhelming!
It's a unique red that's slightly different from the usual - it's a blend that creates a soft, radiant, and beautiful mysterious color!
Unlike common red lip colors such as tomato red, cherry red, vermilion, or clear bright red, this one is uniquely different and absolutely stunning. It gives a vibrant pop of red without feeling too intense, heavy, or overwhelming. Sometimes red lips can look too heavy or intense, making you feel uncomfortable, but this one doesn't have that heaviness or burden despite not being a light shade.

Smooth Application
I expected it to be like those popular matte, mousse-type tints when I heard "matte liquid lip," but it's surprisingly smooth and moisturizing! It's not a glossy, super-moisturizing lip product, but it's also not that dry, matte mousse tint feel! This is really great for someone like me with dry lips.
Although it's described as matte, the liquid itself isn't thick or sticky. It applies smoothly and evenly, with a slight soft, oily feel (but not greasy or shiny).
Because it's not sticky, you can spread it evenly and smoothly, and it applies just the right amount without being too thick.

Not Drying
I was worried because I have very dry lips and it's a matte lip product, but it's not drying at all! It's not that dry, powdery mousse type to begin with, and you can feel a slight oiliness and softness. Even on my lips, which can't handle mousse-type liquid lips at all, this feels comfortable and not drying.

Unique Applicator Shape
The applicator tip caught my eye immediately because it's so unique! Personally, I usually prefer thin, simple wand types. I have thin lips, so thick or oddly shaped applicators tend to make application messy and uncomfortable. I prefer thin cylindrical types because you can apply broadly when laid flat or thinly when upright, and the shape is uniform, making it easy to apply quickly. So I don't usually like unusual shapes, but this one works well. The spoon-like concave part at the top fits perfectly into the plump center of your lower lip, staying in place without slipping as you move it. You could almost apply it to the center of your lips without a mirror! Just fit it into the center of your lower lip and move it back and forth for even application. For the thin lip corners, use the edge (the corner of the spoon part) upright. The tip isn't blunt but thin, so with care, you can apply it even to thin areas. It's especially convenient for those who like to swipe on the lower lip and press lips together to apply.
Use the concave spoon part for the center of the lower lip, the back of the spoon to swipe along the lip line, and the thinnest, pointiest part for the lip corners! It's an interesting shape, but each part seems well-designed to fit different areas of the lips.

Price
I'm quite satisfied with the price! If you look at Estée Lauder's Pure Envy line, both lipsticks and liquid lips are in the $40 range, but Pure Color Love has a regular price of $31, which is relatively affordable. Considering the color, quality, and packaging, it's a good deal! With department store discounts, you can get it for under $30, which is satisfying for an Estée Lauder lip product. The quantity isn't small, and the quality isn't compromised either!
Compared to other department store brand lip products, which are often around $40, this offers good value for money!

Packaging
The packaging is nice too. It's a clean, smooth, elongated shape without any frills. I like that it's sleek and clean without any patterns. The brand name is subtly embossed in small transparent letters, keeping it clean. It's great that it's transparent so you can see the remaining amount and color at a glance. It's light and compact, making it easy to carry around, and the clean, pretty design makes it nice to have out. I like that it's lightweight, thin, elongated, and sleek.
